Hello all...

Curious if I can get some in-sight on the best option...

THis is my story. I stoped smoking for 6 months and started up again AUG/18-23 straight... Then again on the 1st and lastly on the 6th of SEPTEMBER. I'm also I 2-3 hitter and thats it.

160lbs 5.7 average build.

OKAY I have a DOT/FAA test coming up on the 12th of SEPTEMBER.

The question I have is this... I have a home test that is for THC and the CONTROL Line is dark and the TEST line is there but it is light and not as dark as the CONTROL line. This is a 50 cut off test. DOES THIS MEAN I WOULD PASS OR WOULD THE DOT TEST TAKE IT TO THE NEXT 15 cut off test?

In the mean time I have been drinking lots of cranberry( but now I read thats not good because of the fat burning it does) and thinking about the asprin/creatien/vitamin B the days before.

OR should I try something as GNC or a head shop and if so which one is not detected in the urine? Cost is not an issue I want the job.

If you took your home test without drinking excessive fluids, you will be ok for the test. If you drank a lot of fluids before taking your home test, read up on the dilution sticky and see how to do it properly. That should help you pass on the 12th.

BTW, don't smoke any more between now and then.

Do what Sec3 says and test your first pee of the morning.

We have quite a few DOT members on this forum, Hawg being one. Hawg subs all the time (unless I'm confusing him with another member) for DOT tests.

Search his posts for subbing.

You have time to practice subbing if you carefully read the sub sticky, find yourself a clean donor, or get yourself some Quick Fix 4.0.

But if you are coming up neg on a home test, you shouldn't have any worries provided you don't smoke before your test. Good luck.

Thank you for your responses... I have been able to move the test date back to the 19th now!! Whew. I think that I should pass legaly at that point. ( i hope) THe lines on the tester are getting darker every third day that I test!

Please correct me if I am wrong. With a DOT test they do the standard 50 cut off and then if you are positive then they move on to the 15 cut off??

I also ended up buying some juice drink at the head shop. Debating taking it or not.

Don't open it, return it. You won't need it. Just don't smoke between now and the 19th, and you should be ok. You are correct about the cutoff and GC/MS.

A 50 ng home test is virtually the same as the 15 ng cutoff for the GC/MS, as the home test looks for all 31 metabolites and the GC/MS looks for only one. You can thank Buzzby for that info, he is a wise man.
