I just found out this morning that I will have to take a drug test for work. I smoked twice yesterday (several hits from a joint each time.) And once a day for the two days prior. Other than those times I did not smoke for the two weeks before that. I was a moderate smoker before about three weeks ago. Do you think I have a good chance with dilution if I have to take the test by around 1:00-2:00 on Monday? Also I just took a home test after drinking about 1 gallon of water over a 5 hour period and failed the home test. Thanks for any input.

It sounds as if you'll be right on the bubble. It could go either way. I'd read the substitution stickies and try that if you possibly can.

I just tried S2's dilution method today between 12:00 and 2:15 or so I drank all of the water. When I tested at 2:15 I passed with a home test (both control and test lines very strong). I did not drink any thing else after that, and when I got home from work at 8:00PM and took another test. This test also passed (but barely, you could make out the test line but it was faint.) Do you think I would be ok with dilution for tomorrow at around 2:00pm.

You should be ok with dilution. Just be careful to not drink too much fluid and end up with a diluted result.

Today was test day, I gave my sample now I pray I had an odd thing happend today though. I ended up drinking a bottle of Strip by covert labs first thing in the morning in addition to dilution. I didn't realize that Strip has about 16g of psyillum fiber in it. The fiber ending up acting as a laxitive. I didn't end up urinating as much as the day before due to this, only about three times before the test. From what I've read fiber can redirect toxins to the bowls. Would the decrease in urination have hurt me? I know that would be hard to answer diffinetively but I just wanted to check. Also I had another home test left over and test again about 5 hours after the test and was clearn accourding to the test? Thanks for all of the advice.

No word yet, the sample went to Medtox, how long should the results take to get back.

the time to wait for results varies. in my experience, it was anywhere from 3 days to a week. sometimes you arent even informed of your results, and you can tell if you passed when your employer calls back. you will definetely always be informed if you failed.

but i would give it atleast 3 days to a week.
