| Well, I failed a random pee test back on June 9th. Placed on unpaid leave. I stuck in a "treatment center" at that time, I passed my first home test July 7th. After 17 days. And was tested every week. "failed" one because of 1600 mg of Motrin on a EMIT test, but came back negative with a GC/MS, I was boarder line for a few weeks with a faint line on the test strips. Failed another one on day 36 of not smoking after working hard and sweating hanging drywall at 51 ng/ml and was down to 44 ng/ml 2 days later. Tested again on day 58 at 20 ng/ml. I was told I had to be at " 0" ng/ml before I could return to work. So I gave it more time and did my "return to work" whiz quiz after 83days. It seems my Half-life was 20 days, your mileage may very. So when they sent it out to Quest lab all they did was a screen it was negative and never sent it in for a GC/MS test. It seems that the company didn't really know there own policy, they were calling a zero and negative the same thing. That my story, now I'm just waiting on paper work and should be back on the payroll next week. Thanks to all who gave me support, and Info. I never "beat" a pee test, tried on my first one but the levels were to high. Did do mild dilutions on most of the one's in the center and on my last one to make sure. But at least I had the peace of mind and knew what was going on during my experience. Thanks All. |

| dfguy, I am really glad you are going back to work. You know you have friends here. Stick around and help out with your experience and look around at the other areas of the site. That is what usually happens. Supervisors and soem HR people don't really understand how the drug testing thing works and the correct terminology. That is why I have a job. They hire me to enforce their own policies cuz they don't take the time to really understand it themselves. |
