I took my test Monday, then I just checked online through my employer's screening agency to see my results - NEG DILUTE.

Not what I had hoped for. Now, I had drank some fluid for the purpose of being able to urinate on command, but that kind of bit me in the rear. I'm not too concerned about passing as I was two weeks ago, as I have gotten a faint line on two different monrning voids a few days apart since then. What I am concerned about now is not appearing to have been trying to mask use, which was not my intention. Should I still drink fluids, but just watch the quantity and give them more time to filter through? That sounds most logical to me, but what do you guys think.

Up to this point, it's been 18 days since my last use (light user), and I'm willing to go longer (I need to pick up another job for supplemental income). I just want to nail this one the head in a clean and honest state.

Don't worry about drinking fluids before your test. If you cannot pee (shy bladder) or give an insufficient quantity, they will provide you enough water over a proper amount of time to be able to provide a specimen without risking another diluted result. Let them do the work, don't worry about it.
