I've been clean for 2 weeks tomorrow. I have a pre-employment test upcoming, probably day after tomorrow, but it could be as early as tomorrow afternoon.

I took a home test today. I got the test at walgreens.

My results were a solid control line and a very faint test line, meaning a negative result. I stress "faint." It wasn't so faint that it couldn't be seen but it was faint enough that I'm not 100% about passing the lab test. I also took this test with no dilution or anything, just to get a baseline.

I believe my test will be from lab corp, but I can not be certain until tomorrow.

Any ideas? This job is gonna get me from making 30k now to making 104k so it's absolutely imperitive that I pass this test. I have my creatine that I've been taking and the asprin and b2 to do N2's dilution method but I could also sub with my wife's very clean urine. I've been practicing by crotching a bottle of water that starts at 92 degrees and an hour later is 95 degrees. I don't know for sure if this will be observed but I'm fairly sure that it won't be.

Any advise would be appreciated since I don't feel that I passed the home test well enough to do nothing and pray that I pass.

I'm thinking about going through N2's steps tonight and doing another home test just to see it go off better and ease my mind some, as you can imagine this job will be life changing for me so I'm sweating it pretty hardcore.

I took another home test, after diluting. Same result, a faded line in the "test" section. I guess that isn't a bad thing, a line is a line, but I wish it was bright and bold just to make me feel better.

once again replying to my own post.....I have the option to sub I'm sure. I don't think it will be watched. My wife's urine will work just fine right? I know the "you're pregnant" thing is supposed to be a myth. The only problem I see with her's is that she took a lortab, just one, a day ago, and I'd be having her piss most likely between tomorrow and friday. I don't think that one pill would pop a test but I'm not sure about detection periods for that.

I'm thinking that subbing would make me alot let nervous about it....I'm still diluting just in case they decide to observe the test.

The boldness of the line is not representative of your THC metabolite level in your urine. A line is a negative result and, from what I've seen people post on here over some time, it appears the lines boldness is related more to the brand than anything else.

It sounds to me like you have two solid ways to pass and you should use both. Bring your sub as you've practiced and prepare your own urine with dilution as you've practiced. If you go unsupervised, which is very likely, then use your sub. If not you are diluted to back it up and you are nearly sure to pass that way from what your home testing has told you.

With the two options available you are even prepared for the unlikely possibility that when you put in your sub you see the temp strip not read high enough but that's just getting in to easing your paranoia.

I juse re-read your 3rd post which I glossed over after two in a row. I would seriously research the detection time for a loratab on google as it most certainly could make you fail. I'm not familiar with what category of pharmaceutical they are off the top of my head but if you have enough panels in your test it's likely to come up and it's not worth risking without further educating yourself to make sure. I would likely just go with diluting if I were you in this situation as you will not really find out what drugs they are testing for before it's already happenning. Unless of course you have a prescription for those yourself right now.

thanks for the response. Anyone hear of any issues with male urine vs female? Looking at data available online, the one lortab she had shouldn't cause any issues at all.

There is no issue with male vs female urine. The only thing that is testable is wether she's pregnant or if you have prostate cancer. They each cause the same test to show positive so if she were to be pregnant and they were to tes for it you would have to tell them you have to tell them you need to get checked for prostate cancer. But they don't do that so don't worry. Male vs female ... doesn't matter.

sounds like I'm subbing if it's at all possible. I've already been testing the method. The only thing I don't like about the container is when I flip the lid it has a nice "pop" so I should probably take the time to unscrew the lid and pour.

I'm goin with both because I don't have paper work with the type of test yet and I know that this company does pay for hair tests for perm. employees. That said I wouldn't be suprised if the contractor pre-employment test was a fairly strict one. Hopefully I know more about it tomorrow. I know the $50/hr that they want to pay me is worth whatever means are needed to pass.

A hair test is a whole different world. Longer detection time ... different methods to pass. Pray you do not get a hair test. If it is sprung on you with no prep time the only way you'll pass is if you're actually clean.

They won't do that. They only do the hair test on you when you go from contractor to perm. status. I do have a friend working for the company so he does have that much info from him. His deal was different initially though, because he came on through a staffing company and he had to take that company's test. I'm coming in on a 1099 and I'll be paying for the test and background check myself. They're obviously forwarding me the money but I'll have to pay it back.

I'll post again when I get the call from this place and get more info.

I see what you were saying now. You sound prepared and you should do just fine because of that.
