Hey guys, new member here. I plan on being here for the long run.

Anyway.... Ive smoked for hte last 3-4 years, but mroe and more heavily in the last year. for the most part i smoke about 5-6 times a week. For the last month i have been interviewing for a job and have cut back to about to about 2-3 times a week. Last time i smoked was Saturday night, and I am going for the drug test for the job this afternoon. I'm following the dilution methods on the drugtestfacts site to a T, and just to be safe i ordered a couple of at-home tests a few days ago. I just took one this morning, curious to see if i would pass or fail. Well, a line appeared. It wasnt AS bright as the red control line, but it was DEFINATELY there. Do you guys think Ill pass the test today? opinions are welcome!


I've included a pic, and i realize its hard to tell, but my digi camera isnt around, and all i have is my cell. so, what do you guys thinK?

You should be fine, if there is definitely a line. Most tests' indicate that if there is a line, whatsoever, than it is a negative result. however, i am sure you understand that you are not 100% safe. I could give you a more definite answer if i knew what type of test it was. Since it is a pre-employment drug screen, depending on what type of job, it is probably a standard 5 panel test. This is very similar to what you get over the counter, if not identical....

the test im taking is by Quest and on the paper it says

Drug Tests to be performed:
6633N SAP 10-50 GC/MS


i imagine thats either a 10 or 5 panel test

Okay, that helps a lot.

You are going to be taking a 10 panel test. The cut off for THC on the initial test is 50ng/ml. The initial test will be urine. If positive for initial screen the conformation test will be GC/MS with a cut off level of 15ng/ml and this test will only look for THC.

The home test you took has a cut off level of 50ng/ml. However, i can not say for sure if you passed. You will have to make that decision.

I just took one of my friend's home tests. One line means positive and two lines means negative. At first there was one line and I got really scared. I threw it in the garbage and 5 minutes later I took it out to double check. When I looked again, there were 2 lines. So that made me feel a bit better.

How come on my computer that pic takes up the whole screen and is blurry? No one else said that so I'm guessing I need to change a setting or two.

It's not your computer it's the picture (or maybe your eyes yuk yuk). It does the same thing on my computer.
