So... like many people here I have a VERY important drug screening for a job on tues/wed. I haven't smoked in like 15 days. I smoke a couple times a week. I just took a at home drug test today (sat) second urination of the day and I got a ridiculously faint line. I was wondering if you think I should still do the dilution method and risk being called out on diluting or if I should be good to go?

Will they notice the extra creatine levels?

I got a omni drink, but I hear bad things... lots of a bad experiences. Is there any chance they test for things in it? I was just going to drink it along with the water, but I don't want to make my chances LOWER.

Should I test myself again? Advice?

If you had a faint line with your 2nd void of the day, then I would say you are close. Try to take your test after lunch if you can and do a mild dillution and you should be fine. Use sports drinks instead of water when dilluting. Take another home test on Monday and then you will know what to do.

That is exactly what I did. Do the mild dilution along with the aspirin and rolaids. BTW I found out that if you walk into testing center right at lunch time staff seems to be minimal. I know there was no one there when I went in. Good luck! Remeber a faint line is still a negative (pass). Strength of line is not an issue. A line is a line............

Take a home test the morning of the real test with your first void. If you pass then the elders of this board say it's AOK. Just drink enough to be able to piss. If you don't pass then dilute by N2's instruction, it seems to get as good of a results as the many detox drinks. The only issue you'll have is supplementing creatine a few days before but if you start tonight (walmart is 24/7..they have creatine) it'll be built up by Tuesday.

I'm still waiting on my results after I passed a home test with a first thing in the morning void the day of the real test or I'd lay claim to telling you it's AOK. Everyone tells me not to worry....but at 104k/year with this new job and a new car I purchased today, I'm sweating bullets. Research is a good thing but this board has far more info than any site as most of them are trying to sell you a miracle that just isn't out there.

Update:

So I'm taking the test wednesday and it's more important to me now that I pass since I need the job to pay for the car I got to get to the job. I'm going to take another home test tonight. I'm prepping for dilution anyway. Are they gonna care that my creatine levels are quite high? Should I take the beginning of my first void tomorrow to get a 'worst case' result?

Also if I get a negative should I avoid the dilution all together?

im gonna give you my experience i had. was 30 days clean. weigh 118 and i was tested positive. a couple of weeks later, i drank lots and lots of water and i also got a faint line. a week later i didnt get a line at all. not trying to scare you. i did have a friend that drank lots of water and took multivitamins and passed the test. if your job is like mine(the job i had) they will only know the main drugs that are in your system unless they send your urine off the lab to be analyzed. do you consider yourself a chronic smoker? do you exercise?

Nah 3 times a week. I don't think that's chronic. Sorry to hear about your experience, that really blows... 30 days? Damn. I'll find out what that line is like tomorrow morning and come back for some final pep talk. Thanks guys. You're awesome.

I've noticed that different strip mfgr's and even different batches within the same mfgr give different "line intesities".

If you're getting a faint line, you're good 98%. Results are to be interpreted as negative, no matter how faint the line.

I would still do the mild dilute (Use gatorade) and do the aspirin (4-5) and rolaids too. You are pretty close so I would take the added precuation. GOOD LUCK!
