Greetings to all,

I gave myself a drug test this morning using the First Check Home Drug test--first flow of the morning. I clearly see a faint pink line which indicates the test was negative. But I still find it hard to believe.

I'm a daily smoker (one per day) for the last 28 years. I'm 6' 3" and 220 pounds with the middle-aged expanded belly (not beer--I blame Chinese food and the munchies). I just stopped smoking two weeks ago.

Has anyone else tested negative in such a short period of time? It seems so unlikely that I could test negative, but any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. My pre-employment drug test is tommorow.

every BODY is different. I have seen where people can test negative after only 3 days, and where poor dragonFly takes up to 50 days. I believe the record documented here on MJ.com is 105 days before someone tests clean.

With such a variety of "clean-out times", it is impossible to say when one individual will test clean.

If in doubt , test yourself again.

Thanks for the reply. Now, again, I know a "line is a line is a line" . If my test was positive for THC, I would not see anything resembling a line, correct? The THC area would remain white--

Paranoia reigns, so I may still use the synthetic urine I have for the drug test. That's probably crazy, but I keep thinking of that life law "what can go wrong, will go wrong."

The thing is the elimination of THC from the body is not constant from person to person and an individual can even experience variable time depending on different factors. The half life of THC can range from 0.8 days to 10 days. Like Sec3 says, one person may be clean in a few days, another may take weeks. If you put on a lot of weight or your activity level changes or even changes in diet could increase the half life in an individual and vise verca.
