Hello all, this is my first post but may be my most important.

As a low risk individual, I have been placed under the supervision of a volunteer probation officer. While consequences for failing a test, for me, are extreme (10 years), the probation department has come to respect me, so I'm really feeling like a loser at the moment. Anyway, 9 months ago, my P.O. retired. It's taken this long for them to assign me a new one. I have an appointment on the 21st, at which I may, or may not be tested. With ten years and my family on the line, I have no choice but to assume I will be tested.

Me:
5'9"
135 lbs.
For the past 6 months or so, I've smoked about 1/8 oz. of good KB per week for the past 6 months. Stupid decision given my circumstances, but it delivers relief from severe RLS where doctors have failed. However, it’s no excuse where the courts are concerned.

Prior to this post, I’ve done a bit of research on the subject, so I don’t think my questions will come across as ignorant.

I don’t have any specific measurements, but I’ve got pretty low body fat. I don’t exercise regularly at all, and work behind a desk all day.

My appointment (and likely my test) is on the 21st. I learned of the appointment on the 9th, and haven’t smoked since the night of the 8th. I understand that exercise will release THC metabolites from my body fat into my bloodstream, and from my bloodstream into my urine (please correct me if anything is inaccurate in this post!!).

Since I have low body fat, and don’t exercise at all, would it be advantageous for me to attempt to burn fat via strenuous aerobic exercises in an attempt to cleanse my fatty tissue? How long does it take for the THC metabolites to be voided once they’re released from fat into the bloodstream? I know that I’ll need at least a few days of no exercise since it’s impossible for me to burn 100% of my body fat (not to mention the fat reserves in organs such as the liver and kidneys).

I’m also (starting today) cutting out fatty foods and increasing my intake of high grade catabolic foods (foods that require more calories to metabolize than they provide). Also increasing fiber intake in an attempt to "redirect" metabolites to the "other end".

As the consequences for me are so severe, I prefer not to dilute. I’ve got some test strips, but I’m unsure if I have enough time for these steps to help, as I know if I’m burning fat too close to test time it will hurt rather than help.

So for the scientific types on the board, I am considering the following:
Strenuous aerobic exercise, low fat, low calorie food intake for five days in an attempt to put my body into a fat burning state. Then, 3 days before my appointment, stopping exercise and reverting my diet in an effort to stop fat burning and slow my metabolism. However, I simply have no idea whether or not these processes can be changed in such a short period of time.

Any input is greatly appreciated, and as I stated earlier, please correct any inaccuracies in my post.

In brief, I think your plan of action is sound.
I do worry about you however, with only 13 days clean time and your chronic use.
Try the at home strips a few days before the test in the am, first void. You need to know where you stand.
I take it subbing is out of the question...
You may have to dillute.

Guy, I would like to counsel you ethically before scientifically. In a way, it is counseling me ethically by counseling you. I do not want to provide scientific assistance that will be abused! Let God decide whether you deserve incarceration. I doubt it, but I wonder how you got involved with 10 years in the first place! Know God and have peace. You may also know that Temple 420 has won the legal right in Federal Court to smoke marijuana in the practice of their religion. You may want to consider that. Just like a spiritual relationship, just like a human relationship, you must treat it well and with love! Love. Regarding your situation, you will want to smoke no more as long as you can resolve it, and drink plenty of fresh water throughout your experience, as well as cranberry juice because it's just plain healthy. Your fat exercises have little to do with the events up until the time of the test. You don't need to be clean now, you need to be clean at the test. Burning fat now will reduce your THC stores only a small amount, as they are slowly leached back into the body from the fat over time. It is a secondary effect to burn fat. If you have little body fat, take care of your health first.

You may be able to drink a large amount of water and also fast for perhaps 12-24 hours before the test, or eat foods without fat in them, so as to draw little blood to the stomach and GI, and for it to be mostly fresh liquid. In this way, flushing your system a few times before giving the test will reduce the amount of residual THC in your system. Also before taking the test, take a B-vitamin or two to give your urine healthy properties.

It may be better for you to pass this test than to be caught, but you should take your considerations carefully and observe reverence and love to God. Also research and tell them about the Federal case and temple 420.

Thanks for the response. I got 10 years because I made poor decisions when I was young. When I was convicted (1997), I took the wake up call seriously. Since then, I have married, now have 2 children (7 and 9), own a house and my own business, created a program for 'at risk' youths so that they may learn from my experience, etc. I have not even been pulled over all this time.

I have some experience with Temple 420, etc., and I'm not afraid to fight a case on the same grounds, however, my prior poor decisions dictate that the law isn't what I will be punished for breaking, but the specific terms of my supervision.

I've dilluted before, and I'm confident in the science behind dillution, but doing so places a burden of guilt on me that I don't wish to carry (I'm sure that sounds rediculous to most, but I have spent the last 10 years striving for a higher level of integrity, ethics and morals).

On a positive note, and don't ask how, but I home tested clean first void this morning. I am of the belief that meditative control over our own bodies is capable of dictating 100% of bodily functions down to the cellular level. I home tested hot last evening. Meditated for 6 hours prior to sleep.
