So here's the situation. In a lapse of judgement I smoked the night before a test. An idiotic move on my part, I know so please save the comments. I was unaware that I was going to have to take a pre-employment urine test at the time. About an hour after smoking I was told I'd have to do so the next day.

I weigh about 130lbs with a fast metabolism. I bought one of those drinks for cleansing my system but to tell you the truth I'm really not wise as to how accurate those are. On top of that I did nothing but down as much water as I could all night and morning before the test. The drink I took was called Xtreme Cleansing Liquid by Heaven Sent.

What are the chances that I'll pass this test? It's the day after the test and I haven't recieved word on whether or not I've passed it, I'm sort of stressing a little bit.

How much did you smoke prior to the day before the test (Your 3 month history).

How much did you smoke on the day before the test, was it one drag?, one joint, one bowl, one blunt, ...etc...etc...

What was the quality?

Well, for the past 3 months I've smoked quite frequently, almost a day to day basis but not quite. For the past say week and a half not so much. I'd figure about two or three times, I've been on a busy schedule so I've cut back.

The night before the test I shared a blunt with my friend of some decent quality stuff.

You might surprise me, but I'm sorry; I don't give you much of a chance of passing. The only hope is that all the fluid you drand diluted your urine enough, but that is unlikely considering you smoked so much the night before.

Go to church and light a candle. That might be the only way you will pass. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think you have much of a chance to pass. Wish you the best of luck but doesn't sound like you have been "clean" long enuf. Wish you the best. Be sure to post results.

Yeh, once I found out I had to do the test the first thing I did was run to the store and buy a few gallons of water. I went through two gallons before the test, to the point where my stomach was hurting from all the water I drank. I was afraid I was going to overhydrate myself.

I still haven't gotten the results but I'll be sure to let you guys know when I do. Thanks for all the 411.

Hmmmm. I wonder why they go through the bother and expense to test if it don't matter if you use drugs????

Some construction companies test their employees. The ones that pass can go on certain jobs and locations, and the ones that don't pass, cannot go on those locations. (i.e.: Government facilities, military bases, some energy production facilities, etc.).

Most likely you will be doing residential and some private commercial type of construction work. You don't get the "per diem" or the "fringe pay" (prevailing wage) that is required for government contracts.

This also applies to some third party internet service providers. Those who pass a drug test can work on certain accounts (for clients who require the workers be clean) and those who cannot pass a drug test are designated to work on the accounts of the clients who don't care.
