Hi,
The last time I smoked was last Friday, and on that day I found out I have to take a UA this coming monday (that gives me 10 days). This whole week I have been excersizing at least 30 minutes per day, and drinking water constantly. I also took a couple of "echinacea with golden seal" pills to try and speed up the cleansing process. I weigh about 170lbs and I am 6'1", the UA I am getting is from a county probation officer.

I have a home UA test kit that I plan on using tommorow (sunday) to see if I am clean or not, however I am wondering how accurate this home kit can be, and even if it says I am clean if the government UA could still detect THC in my urine.

I may possibly go out and buy one of those cleansing drinks at my local head shop tommorow, but I would like some advice... what do you think my chances are?

Also, what kinds of things can I do to help my chances?

Tell us what was your smoking history leading up to that Friday, going back about 60 days prior. Your golden seal pills and the water days before the test is useless. The detox drink is mostly useless too.

I smoked very habitually until about July, quit for four months and smoked again for a week and a half or so before Friday.

I did drink the detox drink today, hopefully it helps.

Well, after taking my detox drink and then drinking a few glasses of water I urinated about 4 times and it was clear the last few times, is that a good sign that my system is flushed out? I ate a bunch of fiber to return my urine to it's yellow color, which worked.. I took the test about an hour ago and I guess I will see how it goes.

I took a home kit yesterday, it was clean by a very faint line.. so I guess it was in between clean and "preliminary" (must be sent to their lab).

All I can do now is pray that it was at least diluted :P

edit: I also thought it worth noting that the solution I drank was "Ready Clean" under the "Detoxify" brand. I will definitely reply with my results in case anyone has been looking at the product.

It's been over a week and I just talked to my PO so I am assuming that I passed my drug screening. I "thanked" everyone who posted and I just wanted to share the product I used to help out future cases...

weight: ~170lbs

days clean prior to UA: 10
smoked daily for a period of 2-3 weeks before that.

I drank Detoxify "Ready Clean" about 3 hours before my UA, drank 3 glasses of water about 20 minutes later and urinated 3 times prior to the UA. My urine was clear the last two times so I ate a bunch of bran cereal in hopes that the fiber would return the color, which seemed to work.

I also want to note that I was very stressed out this entire week, and if you need to be passing UAs I highly recommend you do not smoke, as that is the only way to be sure.

It wasn't the fiber that made your urine yellow. Chances are the Ready CLean has vitamin B-2 in it and it took 3 hours for the vitamin B-2 to make it through your system and into your urine. Either that or you were very dilute at the beginning of the 3 hours and a combination of the vitamin passing through your system and the urine becoming more concentrated brought the color back to your urine. Either way, it wasn't the fiber. Pure coincidence in the timing.
