I am on probation for a DUI. I was also court-ordered to participate in a 26 week alcohol counseling course, with 4 random urine tests. I have 2 weeks left of counseling, and took my 4th urine test at the beginning of November. Thinking I was done being tested, I smoked last weekend. Only 2 hits, but I was feeling it. Naturally, I went in to counseling on Weds (4 days later) and they were doing urines. Even though I have already fulfilled my required 4, they told me I had to pee again. I was shocked...and now I am terrified.

Before this past weekend, I smoked at the beginning of Nov. Before that, it had been months. I am tall and thin, despite eating fairily unhealthy, so I think I have a fast metabolism. What do you guys think are my chances of passing this thing?

Also, does any one have any input or resources to direct me to in regards to what happens if you fail a urine test while on probation? Thanks.

4 days later and fast metabolism, I think you will pass. Understand this is just a guess of course. With different body types it's hard to tell for sure.
About the probation part, let's say, I hope my guess is right and I am sure you know that it won't go good for you if you test positive.

I was hoping I might get a slap on the wrist (per se) for one failed urine test. Hopefully I wouldnt get violoated for one...I can see getting violated for two. I guess it depends on the PO though.

It is going to be close but I give you a better than average to much better than average chance of passing.
What do they do for a dirty urine on probation. It can be from nothing to doing part or all of the sentence. it depends on how hard they want to come down on you and if you have been doing everything else you are supposed like paying fines or court costs, making probation meetings, any other meetigs such as drug and alcohol classes or AA/NA meetings, finishing community service if any, etc, the probation officer and the judge. There are a bunch of possibilites here so let's not speculate and just think positively that you will pass and that you will refrain for the rest of probation.

I forgot to mention, I had just pissed right before going to counseling, so in order to pee there I had to drink alot of water and sit around for an hour... So I'm thinking that may help my chances.
