What's up fellas... my story is kinda unlucky haha. I'm a 180 pound 6'2" 24 year old male... I rarely smoke... maybe like once every few months and only with friends. Probably 10-15 times in the last 4 years total.

Last July I quit smoking because I finished my comp science degree in August. I've been getting tons of crappy job offers... and things have been going slow lately. Fast forward to last thursday... I ended up hanging out with some old friends and layed in bed with 3 other girls and smoking... the four of us rotated two bowls. It was a pretty crazy night...

So of course I get a call the next day asking me if I can come in for a job interview... and I get there and the guy asked me if I could pass a drug test and I said no problem. I don't know if he was bluffing or not but I would assume it would be a piss test. I've been drinking a lot of water and taking vitamins... do you guys think that 7 days is enough to cover up the one time deal?

Everyone's body is different, so maybe.....................maybe not. 6 days should be enough so long as your smoking history is what you say it is and you didn't smoke TOO much during this "one time deal."

I would suggest you run down to a local drugstore, buy a home test and check yourself so you can test with confidence. If you pass the home test, you should pass the lab test. If you fail the home test, either dilute, or sub. Follow the threads in my sig.

Since this is a pre-employment screen, it should be unobserved and easy to sub.

yeah I was kinda on the fence about getting a drug test kit... but i'll take your advice and pick one up today...

I find myself typing this about every two days. I think I am going to make a thread and stick it in my sig. If your body is completely clean, which it should have been, a one time high is cleared by most people in about 5 days. You are about the right weight for your height so that is good. The vitamins and water didn't do too much for you, read my sig. You have an excellent chance of passing but to be sure a home test would be the way to go.

There are two things someone that knows they are going to have a piss test should do if they cant' or don't want to sustitute.

1) STOP smoking immediately.
2) GO get a home test kit and check yourself.

I took everyones advice and went out to wallyworld to day and picked up a test kit... it was a pretty awkward purchase haha... the woman at the checkout asked to see my credit card and photo id... that's never happened before... I guess she thought I was a junkie .. anyway I took the test and there was a pretty decent line... it wasn't as bold as the others.. here's a pic (far right is THC, top = control bottom = drug)

The pic is a little blurry, but the results are clear. Just for future reference, you should test yourself with your first void of the day. That is the dirtiest. If you can pass with your first void, you can pass later in the day.

Well I ended up starting my training on Thursday... and also went in on Friday without being tested... so I should definitely be clean making it through the weekend. I'm not sure if it was a bluff or not but my job has a lot of security checks so better safe than sorry...

Do yourself a favor and don't smoke until you find out if you are in the clear.
