My stats:
-Male
-36
-6 foot 8
-280 pounds
-I play basketball once a week for an hour or so and thats about all the exercise I get lately.

-was clean for 20+ days prior to taking the test.
Prior to that, smoked every other day.

Testing Preparation: Quit toking of course, ate brown rice, no fats, drank 1/2 gallon of water and 1/2 gallon of cranberry just about every day.

In the week prior to taking the test, I took 3 "At Home" tests from Walgreens and passed all 3 of them. he 3rd time I took the test, I took it on the 10th first thing in the morning (First Void) and the nice little faint line appeared.

Loaded up on red meats all weekend prior to the test.

Morning of the test, I made a gallon of Naturally Klean Herbal Tea and drank it over a 3 hour period along with a creatine pill, protien pill and B2.

After finishing said herbel tea, I waited for an hour. Then went into the lab, dumped my pokets into a drawer, went into the unsupervised room and gave them a bit of the old yellow glory.

The lady didnt split it into 2 containers. Instead she just used one. Which I thought was odd becuase what if I wanted a second test later?

She then sent it off to Advanced Toxicology and sent me on my way.

The paper work says they performed this test: 01504 Drug Screen: 10 Panel (5.15o) Also says 697925-NDOT W/ALL REVIEW.

So here it is Thursday night, 4 days later and I haven't heard from an MRO and my new employer hasnt heard from them either.

So my question is:

1-What could be taking so long?
2-What is the test they marked?
3-What levels do they test for at Ad Toxi?
4-Any other thoughts..like u think I passed?

OH, I take 150MG of Effexor every day for GAD and 20MG of Omeprazole for heart burn.

Thank you for replying. That would be great news to hear for sure. My employer says that usually they hear a negative within 24 to 48 hours and that only the positives take 3-4 days to get a result. So that is why I am sweating.
What about my post makes u think I stand a chance?

In your opionion/experience, which is usually reported faster? A Dilute, a Negative or a Positive? I too would think that the lack of a call from the MRO is a good thing. I failed in the past month prior to taking this test after relying on a QCarbo and the mro called me 2 days later to give me the shake down.

Anyway, are you suggesting that if I had failed, the mro would have called by today but if I had passed, he just hasnt gotton around to letting my employer know? The employer can see it online somehow. Not sure if its email or what.

I am suggesting that but I have no way of being sure. Employers can usually access the info online, I had forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder. Shit happens and places get busy, samples get delayed, samples get lost, etc. Don't be smoking until you get your results just incase you have to test again.

the collection place should be able to trace the shipment to the lab if it were lost in transit.

The lab is probably still testing if the employer cannot access any results.

Your test said that an MRO reviews ALL tests, even the negative ones.

Usually we get negatives within 36 hours. Dilute negatives are reported to the employer the same as a negative. Dilute positives and positives take as long as it takes for the MRO to speak with the donor. Ours continue to try to contact a donor of a Positive test for up to 10 days for a DOT test and up to 3 days for a negative. If the MRO cannot contact the donor using the phone number you put on the CCF, the MRO will then contact the employer to try to have them contact you to relay a message that you should contact the MRO. If the testing is handled by a third party administrator (TPA), then the MRO will contact the TPA who in turn needs to contact the employer who then needs to contact the donor.

Positives take 3-4 days to complete the laboratory confirmation process. Then the MRO procedures begin which can add another 3-10 days on top of that.

If you do not hear from the employer tomorrow, you should have them put a trace on the specimen.

I think you are negative because you received a negative on a home test using your first pee of the day. then when you took the "real" test, you had time to add some fluid to the mix. You SHOULD test negative. Breathe and try to relax.

I got the call from the MRO last night and he says I tested positive for mj.
The lab was Advanced Toxicology...anyone know what NG level they test for?
Again, I passed a home test wtih my first morning void. I thought I was in the clear.

Yes, you have a right to look into your personnel file and see what the results of the test were if you are an employee (as opposed to an applicant).

Just request (may have to do this in writing) to the HR department a copy of your personnel file and all it contains.

ATN will test at whatever level the employer requests. Sorry to see you failed, this was indeed unexpected.

You might want to call the MRO back and request that your specimen be sent to another lab for confirmation, but you only have 72 hours to do this. (if it is possible with a single collection, some are not available for this). Also, the second lab will send straight to the GC/MS to test for the matabolite that you tested positive for at Advanced Toxicology Network Lab., so this might not be any use for you.
