No, dilution method can work on a lab test. Instant tests you get a little more "freedom" because some instant tests do not test for validity, some do now with instant validity test strips, and some will send out questionable samples to a lab. If you don't have to worry about validity testing, which is becoming more and more rare, you can go a little higher on the fluid intake without worry. What do you mean by cultures? Cultures are for bacteria not drug testing. Immunoassay and GC/MS, those are what are used in drug testing.
