Hey, so I recently graduated college, and I'm about to get my first real job. Problem is, I am going to have to take a Pre-employment urine drug test.

I have been smoking for the past 8 years regularly, and the past 30 days regularly(meaning about twice a week). The last time I smoked was 2 days ago (I just found out about the test today) and I know I have at least a week before I am going to have to go for the test. Ok, so I'm 5 foot 3 , 114 lbs, I burn about 1840 calories a day, and eat about 2500 a day. My BMI is pretty low... 20.2 I don't work out at all, but if it will help me pass my test I am more than willing to.

Could you guys please give me some suggestions that will help me pass this thing? (obviously I do not plan on smoking untill after the test) I'd really appriciate any insite , I'd really like to get this job, and pay off my student loans (haha). Thanks!

well it depends on ur test, piss test or hair test
if you have to do a piss test id only be slightly worried but basicly not at all...but if you have to take a hair test u might want to try to find a secondary job becuase it's really hard to beat
if you get a piss test:
go to a local walgreens or CVS and by a bottle of niacin whitch will run ya up a good $10. and take 1 pill a day for about 4-5 days; drink alot of water afterwards as niacin will cause you to flush and become itchy. helps clean out bad impurietys in your blood and those stored in your fat cells.
after your done with the 4-5 days with niacin drink 1-2 glasses of water a day along with 1 glass of cranberry juice. untill the day of the test
and on the day of the test drink ALOT of water and untill your piss turns clear and not like yellow; whats now happening is is that ur body as to much acces water in it so its pumping it out so it's actualy water; when this starts happening take about 4-5 B viatamins before every additonal glass of water you drink so that your clear piss will turn to a normal yellow whitch will fool the " bladder cops " to thinking its real piss.

it's definetly a piss test. thanks for the info about Niacin, i checked my daily vitamins and it actually has Niacin in it! so i'm off to a good start. thanks for your advice, i feel a lot more at ease!

No your not off to a good start. For some reason darren j gave you false information. Niacin will not assure you to pass a piss test. Take large amounts will give you hot flashes, but won't help you pass a urine test. It is a myth.

You could take a home test with your first void of the day to check yourself.

I don't think you will be able to pass with your own piss. Smoking daily for 8 yrs. is alot ,to get clean enough in a week to pass with the dilution method.

Have patience and someone else will probably reply with more info for you.

Pre-employment tests aren't observed, so I would suggest that you start reading the substitution sticky and practicing and don't take anymore advice from darren j.

Kate, don't do it, don't listen to darrenj. Notice how he just joined and only has 2 posts. He is a newby too and he doesn't even know anything about niacin. Niacin cleaning you out is a myth and like 1tokeoverthelin pointed out he first post was asking if niacin worked or not. He pretty much is in the dark about niacin and was asking if it causes you to pass or was it something else his friends were doing. I don't think he has even used it himself to pass or fail before yet he is recommending it. Then his second post was recommending it to you. If he doesn't even know if it works or not, how can he recommend it. Basically everything darrenj told you is wrong and if you listen to him you will fail. Anyone who tells you that a crazy method like his is "garanteed to work =D" is only going to help you fail.

To Kate and all newcomers, look to the right of a member's name. Look at someone's post count, reputation, and how many times they have been thanked. This will help you figure out how reliable someone's advice is. I don't have that many thankis because thanks are new and I haven't been on in a while but look at 1tokeoverthelin. He too is telling you that darrenj doesn't know what the blue hell he is talking about and look at his post count, rep, and how many times he has been thanked.

Now back to helping Kate with good info. First of all, how do you know your body burns 1840 calories exactly and if you are taking in 2500 calories a day how come you aren't putting on about 3 pounds a week? Since this is a pre-employment drug test your best bet is to sub with clean urine from a donor or synthetic urine. Depending on how long you have till the drug test you may be able to dilute and pass. If you choose to dilute you can exercise till about 5 days before the drug test and this will help your body burn THC a little faster and help you get cleaner a little quicker.

Whatever you do, don't rely on darrenj niacin myth.

Your right, burning 1840 but eating 2500 doesnt make any sense. I used an online calorie calculator because a post I read on this board suggested you post your metabolism rate. But I never gain weight, so those statistics would make no sense. Thanks for the 411 on the niacin myth. Ok, so if I get some urine from a friend to use, do they have to be the same sex? and around the same age? Its gonna be hard to find someone but I'm gonna try. Thanks!

Well I'm glad you saw the advice against the niacin myth. You could have estimated your metabolic rate but that was good of you to try to give as much info as possible. Age and sex of the donor urine do not matter, just as long as it is clean and not dilute. You can also buy synthetic urine on line such as Quick Fix 4.0 for a decent price.
