I'm 26 5' 8" 163 lbs Male
Drug Test 12/19/06 (PASSED)
Smoking Duration:8 months (Sept - Oct a couple times everyday mostly kind bud)
Quit Smoking 12/8/06 (11 days prior to test.
Failed 4 at home tests periodically throughout week

Breakdown

I couldn't sleep all week a I was so nervous.
Worked out twice a day ate oatmeal for breakfast and dinner
Bought some niacian took three a day spread out
Quit working out 3 days prior to test
Drank assloads of water everyday.

I was recommended "Super Quick Caps"
I also bought Instant Acting Puriclean Detox drink
I took drink at 6:30am
pissed every twenty minutes at work for 4.5 hours

at 10:00am I noticed my urine was way too diluted
I Brought in the Super Quick Caps at 10:00am (four pills at once w/24 oz. of water------->wait 15 mins drink 24oz.

The quick caps gradually turned my urine electric green after 45 minutes
I took the test at 11:55am (cup with 5 panel indicators on side)

Verdict I passed.


*The omni clean will make you lose control of your bowels. i.e. sit down when you piss.

Congratulations, I have a couple of questions and comments for you. The niacin probably didn't do anything for you. It can't hurt so if you want to take it good for you but it hasn't been proven to do anything. The drinking assloads of water didn't do anything for you either. You can't clean yourself out with water. You said at 10 am you noticed your urine was way to dilute. You can't tell dilute samples with your eyes. Color is not always a measure of how dilute a sample is or isn't.

Finally, you drank the detox drink. How many ounces was that? Then you drank 24 ounces of water and another 24 ounces of water. All together I am guessing you had at least 64 ounces of fluid. That is pretty much the dilution method. Looks like to me it was all the water diluting your urine and not magic detox drinks that caused you to pass. You probably could have passed using th dilution method described here and saved some money. The Omni cleanse probably has a lot of fiber or vegetable laxatives in it causing you to go to the bathroom.

.....the night before I wanted to do a practice run and take an at home test again.. I went to find the quick caps at this store and the manager of the store told me they didn't have the quick caps, but the omni clean would pass the test for me. He told me all these stories of people he knew passing. I agree with you, I should go back and ring that guys neck. If I didn't have those quick caps for a backup I would have been Fuuuuckkkkkked. I disagree about the Niacin comment. yeah you shouldn't take it in large doses, but I trust the FDA. They wouldn't make it if it was that bad for you. But desperate situations demand desperate measures.

You passed that is the main thing. Almost everyone on this site will tell you the niacin didn't have anything to do with you passing. All large doses of niacin will do is give you hot flashes.
I would trust the FDA if they legalized medical marijuana. With that said, the FDA has approved drugs that they later found out that they fucked up big time by doing so.

Do some research and you will find that Niacian opens up the smallest of capularies up to 3x's their size. Some of the capularies are so small that blood cells can only travel in a single file line. The way your body gets THC out of your fat is through irrigation through blood. So you people are telling me that increasing the distance blood can travel through your fat doesn't help in THC irrigation? Come on now.....

Do some research????????? Why do you think most people on this site and other sites will tell you niacin does nothing for a piss test?
C'mon now.......................

Exercise and time is all that will get THC metabolites out of your system.
Marijuana will raise your blood pressure so maybe you could just smoke more pot to rid yourself of THC metabolites.

Come on now Jackfrost, you've got to come heavy if you want to prove the niacin myth, not just some junk about dilation. There are two huge flaws in your theory. First one is that just because niacin causes dialtion doesn't prove it increases fat metabolism or THC metabolism. Second, if it di work and you were taking niacin the day before the test, where do you think those THC metabolites end up going to? Do they vaporize and leave your body instantly or maybe they just end up in your blood, get filtered by your kidneys, end up in the urine and then in the cup. Wouldn't that be counterproductive? Come on now....

Back to the first statement, dilation doesn't necessarily increase fat metabolism or dilation increases THC metabolism. Also, irrigation is more of something you do to your crops or lawn while circulation has do with blood and the supply of blood! There are plenty of things that cause dilation of blood vessels such as being hot (your body will dilate blood vessels in the skin to increase blood flow to cool the body) or even prescription drugs used to control blood pressure. Surely these prescription drugs cause more vasodilation then niacin yet they do nothing for increased THC metabolism. Just because niacin causes dilation doesn't prove that there is a link between increased dilation and helping your body get rid of THC. Also, it doesn't make much sense that if there are capillaries that are so small that only a single file lines of blood cells can flow through them then even if you did increase their size to 3x of their original size would it even matter in the grand scheme of things. It seems that it really wouldn't matter because they are so small and insignificant to the role of getting rid of THC to begin with.

Let's say it did work, that this increase in blood vessel diameter cause increased THC metabolism. Most people who claim the niacin myth works take the niacin for a few days before the test and the day of the test. Well, those metabolites would be released by the fat cells, enter the bloodstream, and get filtered by the kidneys. Your kidneys (and maybe the liver?) would have to remove these metabolites almost instantly or else you would actually have higher levels of THC metabolites in your urine sample, especially if you took the niacin the day before or day of the test. You have to take into account the role of the kidneys in this process. There is more to this having to work than just causing the blood vessels to dilate.


Here are some more things to think about.
Why don't more overweight people take huge amounts of niacin to burn fat and help loose weight?

What about the supply of enzymes in the body used to metabolize THC? This supply is not unlimited so you would have to have enough enzymes to handle this extra workload. Do you know if this is the case? It seems if you did have an endless supply it wouldn't take so long to begin with.

If you dilate blood vessels this causes a drop in blood pressure and if you drop blood pressure your kidneys do not work as well so they can't clean the metabolites out of your blood even though you are increasing the amount in the blood.

I didn't think large fat stores which hold a good amount of the THC really had microvasculature like this. Isn't microvasculature associated with tissue that needs a lot of oxygen such as organs, muscle, and nerves?

How come there are no solid studies backing up the niacin myth? It would be easy to prove or disprove either using lab rats or humans by testing them, getting the level, then giving them niacin, then testing again.

I would like to here from some people with more medical education than I do on some of these statements I made.

Come on now, there is more to this having to work than just increasing blood vessel diameter. You have to show that this increase in diameter has a direct link to decreasing THC half-life. Not everything is proportional or holds a direct relationship.

For the sake of future viewers of this thread. One more time......Niacin does nothing for a piss test. If Jackfrost passed, it was contributed to something else. Not niacin.

64+ ounces of fluid is what caused you to pass. At least you know when your argument is beat, come on now. Next time you have a drug test, drink just enough to swallow the niacin and see what happens.
