| OK all, let me know what you think ... 31 yo female 5'6, 135 lbs. Smoked almost daily for four years until about a year ago (when my connection went out of business ), now down to 4x/month or lessWill have been clean 12 days at test time I have taken two home tests and passed both (both those First Check tests for parents to give their kids) -- line not as dark as the "control" line but clearly visible. I teach group exercise and therefore work out on a regular basis ... I went hard last week but have slowed down this week. (I lost five lbs. in the last two weeks.) Unfortunately, I have to teach the night before my test. I'm trim but put on about 15 lbs. since summer, so I've got more fat than I used to. (Though, like I said, I lost five of 'em.) I drink a lot of water just out of habit, so I've been keeping that up -- about 3/4 gallon a day. I've also had 32 oz. cranberry juice the last three days. I have the B12 and aspirin pills waiting. I had a burger for dinner last night, eating sushi tonight and salmon or steak tomorrow. I want to take the home test one more time ... hopefully a different brand if I can find it. So given my course of action, my decrease in intake, and the fact I've passed two home tests ... should I worry? I don't know how accurate the home tests are vs. lab tests. (I'm taking a urinalysis, btw.) I'm going to start popping aspirin tonight, and take four over two hours before my test ... plus a B12 (500 mcg) to add color. My urine is pretty light/clear most of the time due to my usual water consumption. any advice much appreciated! |

| I should add that I think my metabolism is slightly higher than average, given all the exercise ... though I don't work out as much as I once did (used to teach 8x/week, now down to 3-5x/week), and the reason for the weight gain was that, plus eating like a P-I-G pig!! |

Different test brand, good idea. The B12 is horrible. Color doesn't matter much but if you want color it is B-2 not B-12! I am not sure how much creatine fish has. It should be beef. Go eat cow. | |||

| Thanks JB. B-2, huh? I'll take a multi instead because I notice that does add color. FYI, I bought the tests on two different occasions at two different stores (different chains, even). But I would like to try a different brand. I can delay until late next week and might do so just to be safe ... that would put me at 18 days clean. |
