Happy Holidays all..
My holidays have been bittersweet..im elated because i was just offered my dream job..im a basketcase because i need to take an unexpected drug screening= UA on wednesday

I smoked a few bowls last weekend..so im about 7 days..im a very light smoker..maybe 2,3x a month. I used ready clean in the past with success so i picked up the drink again..im 5-9 160lbs..pretty athletic

i purchased the first check drug test kit from cvs this morning, and tested NEGATIVE..to my surprise..now i still have 3 days to work with and im wondering if i should drink the ready clean just to be safe..i dont want it fn up my test if i am indeed, negative. so i am waffling on my decision.. I CANNOT FAIL, people have thrown parties for me in celebration of my the job offer. like most of us, alot is on the line here.

any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!

btw. my testing cutoff for THC was 50mg ..it was a faint pink line..which means a negative according to the directions.

These kinds of statements always crack me up "I cannot fail this test." I guess this would be as opposed to those who can fail a drug test and it doesn't really negatively affect their lives. I know that there are some people who are half-hearted about a job and can really care less one way or the other; but I would have to say 95% of people who come here have a drug test for a job or probation that they cannot fail, obviously :rolleyes". But on a high note, you didn't ask if a faint line counts as a negative. You figured out a line is a line on your own. However, did you use the first void of the day? Since a lot is on the line this would have given you a better indicator of if you can pass the test at any time of the day.

Not familiar with Ready Clean so why don't you post the ingredient list and maybe someone can figure out if it would be helpful and when to take it. I doubt it would ruin your test and there is one ingredient I am looking for in particular to see if it would be helpful.

thanks for the response..i did not mean to offend anyone..im just very nervous and extremely paranoid.

as far as the ready clean, i will try to post the ingredients today. It is a detox drink sold at a head shop...I am going to drink a ton of water..and retest myself tuesday on the first void. i have read that the ready clean drink might show up as a masking agent..

You didn't offend me, I thought it was funny. Save your money and skip the Ready Clean. Read my signature about drinking tons of water days before the test. It would be better to test yourself while you were not diluting. If the test is positive, dilute or sub. If the line is faint but present do a mild dilution day of the test.
Take the money you save from the drink and buy a bottle of Metamucil instead. Take it every day leading up to the test and the test day. Soluble fiber can help the body eliminate THC metabolites a little faster. Take about 9-12 grams a day in divided doses.

Aerobic exercise helps more but you are too close to the test date for that.

update:
took another home test this morning..first check marijuana screen 15 bucks at cvs
with first void of the morning, no midstream..and passed.

do you all think its safe to say im in the clear for my test wednesday afternoon?

Those home tests are not 100% accurate. But it doesnt sound like you are a day to day chronic user so changes are you should be fine. I would still consider using the dilute method to be certain.

Good luck and dont stress or worry about it until it's a reality.

hey thanks for the reply..
im just concerned about failing with a diluted sample if i am clean..maybe i should dilute half of what is said in the sticky..
if i take another test, another brand at first void of the morning and pass...i think i will just use my own urine..drink a 20 oz gatorade right before i go in..
what do you all think? my test is wednesday pm

Those home or instant tests are not 100% but they are close, close to 95-97% accurate depending on brand. What happened to yesterday>today is really odd or just unlucky to be one of those 3-5%. Also, Sec3 made a good point that maybe it was stored badly by the vendor or distributor. That is one reason why they put the control line in there to make sure it is still working but really yesterday was unlucky because it wasn't close.

It looks like Fakeboobs suggested the mild dilution too which looks like what you are calling the half dilution. You definitely don't want to get a dilute sample if you are clean but a little dilution would help ease your mind and give you a little more room.

Just for u guys that are keeping score: I took 4 seperate at home tests, all from 3 different walgreens, purchased on 4 seperate dates.

The first one, I failed (No second line at all).

The following 3, 2+ weeks later, I passed all 3, including the first void, first stream.

I think the key to it all is of course how fat u are and how much smoke. If you smoke every day and are over weight, then its going to take a lot more time. Obviously that is what the xperts like JB will tell you.

You wouldn't still have the tests or the boxes they came in? If you do check and see if they all have the same lot number. Your case seems so odd. If you passed a home test with a faint line then came back with a lab level of 58 I could see that because of changes in your daily activity that might cause that such as change in fluid intake or physical exertion. 158 though doesn't make much sense at all. Did the MRO say that was the level on immunoassay or GC/MS?
