Hello to all,thanks in advance for any insight,I was wondering if heavy tobacco use would cause me to fail a urine test,I have not smoked weed in a few years,but did smoke a few bowls of some average grade about 70 days before I had to do a piss test for probation on a d.u.i,will tobacco cuase the thc to linger in my system longer than usual?,I weigh 165,do mild morning exercise,am a vegatarian,not a very good speller,the urine test is being done by pretrial services,I tried doing some research to try and see what type of urine test they use and think it is emit 2(not sure tho),this occured in maryland where they love to spend tax dollars on stuff like this so it could be the most expensive urine test (the gc/ms) do you think 70 days is long enough to pass after a few bowls,thanks for everything-h79

Tobacco use in no way relates to THC metabolites within your body. You sound as though you should have no problem passing a urine test for THC.

Thanks for the reply,I think I'm giong to do one of those home test just for curiousity's sake,thanks again-h79

While numerically different, the cutoff levels for immunoassay tests and GC/MS tests are effectively the same. The GC/MS detects only one kind of cannabinoid residue while immunoassay tests detect several of them
