I need to know how successful people have been using someone elses clean urine for a drug test.
I am probably going to need to pass a pre-employment drug test in about two weeks. I am a regular, daily user for over a year, and have concerns that two weeks will not be enough time to test clean myself.
If I carry the urine in a condom does it need to be unlubricated? why?.... and what is the best way to maintain temp? Has anyone tried the urinator that is sold over the web?

Being fairly new to this whole, ummm, "scene" here is what I've gotten out of my extensive research -

Yes, I would imagine it has to be unlubricated. reason? Well, you don't really want lubrication in your urine sample now do you?

As for temperature - I have read some fairly positive things about the urinator - however it *is* expensive. Basically all it does is keep the urine at the correct body temperature. Other methods include taping an unlubircated condom to one's leg or under your armpit. Thing is that external body temp is not necesarily warm enough. Pocket hand warmers might help (the kind one uses for skiing) although from using those with skiing I know they tend to get a lot warmer than ones body (if they didn't they wouldn't help too much keeping you warm while skiing.

If you do go for substituion, the main thing I have considered regarding that is to get a digital thermometer to make sure the temp is within 92-100 degrees.

Hi guys,

Just found out that there is a chance I might be watched for the drug screen. Damn! This is ridiculous. I work in health care and apparantly hospitals see nothing wrong with treating you like a criminal when it comes to drug testing. Guilty until proven innocent.

So much for substitution. I'm starting to think the only way to get through it is to just stay clean long enough to pass the test. I've smoked every night for about a year, only quiting two days ago. Any ideas on how much time before I can feel certain? I plan to drug test myself before hand to make sure. Does anybody know if the kits available at the drug store say how sensitive they are? I've also heard that drug testing clinics sell at home kits, has anybody done this?

Figures my drug of choice (weed, and one I consider harmless to my employer) is the one that is detected the longest. I'd have a better shot at passing if I were a coke head!

If you've been smoking for year straight it could take a few months for your system to clear up. It depends on your body metabolism and your duration but two weeks probally wont help much. Who said you were going to be observed, was it someone who works there or something the company told you.

Well substitution isnt completly hopeless, you do have a better hiding spot than us guys do, if you conceal a condom full of clean urine and can get away with breaking it open with a fingernail then you might be able to get away with it while observed.

I can probably push the testing up a month but not a few months. If I test clean on the home tests what are the chances I'd test clean on the lab test?

I don't know for sure that I would be observed but a few people that I know who also work in health care mentioned being observed for their drug test (had to leave the door open). I couldn't ask to many questions because I don't trust opening up to co-workers about my personal drug use.

Substitution scares me because I'm afraid I would be so paranoid that I would look guilty as hell. I have a hard time hiding that. I'd probably be shaking like a leaf.

Well, if you pass a home test, you will probably pass a real test (if it is 50ng/ml). So what if you have to leave the door open, I assume you are a woman; its not like they can look up your woo-woo with a damned camera or something too see if you have a condom there. I wouldn't worry about using substitution at all, everyone does it and its successfull as long as you have it within the 90-100F temp range. They are only making sure you aren't trying to pull something else out of your pocket or trying to do obvious stupid stuff (I would think). I'd say practice until it looks authentic.

Okay I had the same fears that you do Maggie... I just did my drug test 3 days ago and had to do substitution.. I also used a guy's urine and I was still a lil worried that it wouldn't work... I guess my biggest fear really was keeping it warm enough, what I did was while I was driving to the clinic I placed the sample on the vent in my car and turned the heater on slightly... I didn't use a condom, I just used a ziplock bag hehehe I was too scared with my luck the condom would break or something while I was walking into the clinic and that I'd have a big wet spot on my jeans... but it got pretty warm and I wasn't sure how long I would have to wait in there before I would get a chance to go to the bathroom... they didn't watch me I just wore some baggie pants stuck the bag down my pants to keep it warm and by the time they called me back to the bathroom it was still warm but not too warm and today I found out that I passed!.... so I'd definatly say if you have any fear at all that you yourself wont pass then go with a donor.... and good luck!!!

what clinic did you have to goto was it? did they do lab testing ? i ask because i have a test coming up not sure when excatly, i am cosidering using a friends sample how long does a sample last before i need a new one? do you know?
