Hi...

Just took a test for my job and I'm freaked out. Wish I would have found this site sooner... it would have helped.

I rarely smoke, but I was back home for the holidays and around family and friends so I took up the opportunity to smoke a couple times. In the past year I haven't smoked at all and then since my return home I have smoked on twice in mid November, once on Dec. 1st and once on Christmas Day. Each time it was only one hit and that was it.

Well, flew out to my job and was totally oblivious to the fact that I had a drug test. I thought that I was ok... but that was because I forgot about the fact that I had smoked on Christmas (I was a little drunk). Anyways... I freaked out... it had only been 17 days since I had smoked (and I was definately high as hell from smoking on the 25th)!

I didn't know what to do, so I called a friend who told me to go out and buy some Detoxify. The morning of my test I drank shit loads of water (64 ounces) before Detoxify. Then I drank Detoxify and recommended refill of bottle. Then immeadiately before the test I sucked down another 64+ ounces of water... and then I took the test.

The thing that I'm most worried about though is the whole exercise thing. Been reading the posts on this site about how exercise immeadiately before the test is bad. My New Year resolution was to exercise more so I have been for the past 2 weeks about every other day. It just so happens that the day before my test was one of my most intense workouts (used the gym at the hotel).

I'm really freaked out that exercise fucked up the results and my have screwed me...

What do you guys think? Will one hit of weed in 40 days show up on a drug test? Will the fact that I smoked 3 times in Nov. increase my chances? Does the exercise thing really increase my chances that much? Is 17 days for such a seldom smoker enough time to pass? Does the fact that I drank so much water but didn't exactly follow the dilution suggestions (asprin, creatine) help the situation?

Any help or advice that I could get would really help settle the nerves. Thanks!!

There is no way off knowing until you get your results. It takes approx. 5-7 days for a one time use to clear your system. Everybodies metabolism is different. Definitely bad timing all the way around...smoking, exercise, piss test. Good luck.

I would think that you would have passed with doing nothing but take ahome testt to make sure. You will most likely be negative but maybe a negative dilute with all of the liquids. Watch those magic drinks some can be detected now.
