I am 28 years old and a now-occasional smoker. Let me define occasional....I smoke probably around seven hits a week and really never even have any of my own marijuana. It's mostly something I do, now, when I go out on the weekends and is usually supplied by my friends. I did, however, smoke a lot more in the past, but since I have been unemployed, really didn't have the money to blow on it.

I got a job at a large corporation as a network administrator, and therefor had to do a drug screening. The test was a Quest Diagnostics 6633N SAP 10-50 GC/MS test.

The first time I took the test I had smoked on New Years eve and maybe early on new years day when we were out. The first test was taken in the late afternoon at around 5:30pm on January 4th. BTW, I am 6'1", 190lbs and consider myself to have an above average metabolism although I really don't know if that is true or not.

I didn't prepare for the first test to the best of my ability, but did take Detoxify's Mega Clean about two hours before the test. That's really all I did and did NOT go to the bathroom frequently that day. Needless to say (from the title of this post) I was notified the day before I was to begin this job that I did not pass the urine test. I was horrified but did convince them to let me take the test again, which I did today with what I hope was a better effort....but I need your opinion....

I was notified that I could take the test the next day and did so around 3:00pm in the afternoon. I was taking the test on Monday, and had last smoked around three to four hits on the previous Friday night. At around midnight the night before the test I began drinking tons of water. I drank about a gallon and voided about ten to twelve times before I went to sleep. When I woke up around 11:30am the next day, I immediately started to drink again. I drank in total about another gallon of water. I also refilled the Mega Clean bottle I had from the first test with H2o and drank that. I then went to a head shop bought a bottle of Detoxify's Ready Clean (as they were out of Mega Clean) and drank that. I refilled the bottle with water, and drank it. I voided around ten times before taking the Ready Clean and twice more after drinking the Ready Clean. Again, I took the test at around 3:00pm and drank the Ready Clean about an hour before as instructed.

By this time I was feeling the effects of that amount of water in my system as it was giving me a little bit of an upset stomach. Before I drank the Ready Clean, my piss was very clear, and then after drinking the Ready Clean it was more of a neon green color. From what I have read I assume it was this color because of the B12 contained in the Ready Clean. When submitting my sample this didn't seem to be an issue and I am awaiting the results. I also made a conscious effort to give the middle of the stream when submitting.

Please let me know what you think as I am very paranoid about this second test. Thanks in advance for any opinions you could lend.

My vote: Second test will come back dilute. Negative, but diluted.

Yeah they are going to know you diluted your system. You drank a lot of water. But good luck.

In thinking about it again, I may have exagerated how much water I drank. Is there any way that drugs would show on the test? If it comes back diluted then I would bitch a ton as this was the second time I have taken this test.

Again....thanks to the two that posted replys.....I passed the second time and begin my new position on Thursday....
