So, I go in for my first probation screen tomm. at 11 am...

I have been clean for a little over 3 weeks (25 days) and I have tested neg. on 3/4 home tests the past few days, all on first void of the day(cept the one afternoon test). The very first test I took on day 21 gave me a solid line. Then, on day 24, I failed the first test of the day, but later that night I passed a different test. Then on day 25 (today) I passed this morning with another faint line. I haven’t really done much to change my metabolism except getting my recommended daily 8 glasses of water (or Gatorade)

I've read on some other threads about faint lines meaning you were just below the cutoff level for that specific test, yet still low enough to pass it .......which leads to my main question..

Are probation drug screens the same as most home tests? In other words, if I pass the home one’s with a faint line, will I pass the probation test as well?? ANY insight into this subject would be greatly appreciated!

Soooooo just letting ya know, I just got back from the PO office and since it was my first time going I didnt even have to take a piss test.....damnit! I think this was the only time in my life I was actually wanting to take a piss test(since I knew I would pass.) Anyways, at least next time I wont have to stress about being clean....


Only a few more months of active, then I can smoke without having to worry!

just to give an update......

im leavin now to go take my first probation test, clean for 53 days and just really excited that i have ABSOLUTELY nothing to worry about.

however, this is an interesting fact ive stumbled across....i was worried about the faint line on my test's about a month ago, however i used one of the same test's this morning (just to reassure myself) and the line was pretty much the same darkness as the ones a month ago(i.e. kinda faint) even though im positive im 100% clean it was still faint...

i think this means that line intensity probably doesnt matter?(correct me if im wrong!)

Yes, the intensity of the line doesn't matter at all. I give 5 panel instant tests all the time. The line for opiates is very dark relative to the THC line on 100% of the negative tests. (Non-negatives are another story).

just another update....

I just got back from the test and all I can say is
WOW
it would have been so easy to sub...

the nurse told me to empty my pockets but didn't even check to make sure i actually did empty everything. I could have had a whoole bottle of piss and they wouldnt have known. she then stood right inside the door but i went to a completely shielded urinal and did my business. So i was kinda observed, but not intensly, and she def. did not see my junk lol.

If i had practiced enough gettin the temp right and being quick about it, I could have easily pulled it off, no prob.( even though i didn't need to!!! haha)

A female can't observe a male and vice versa. Next time they may have a male nurse available. Then what???? You lucked out this time.

The male nurse will do the same. He had a MONITORED test, not an OBSERVED test. There is a difference. A Medical technician (nurse, tech, doctor) can monitor the opposite sex. No one can observe the opposite sex.
