I was just urine tested for pre-employment. I'm worried if I passed because I used to be a very heavy daily pot smoker for many years. I stopped smoking heavily about 8months ago. In the last three months I've smoked about 3times total. The last time was New Year's Eve, less than a joint. It's been 4 weeks between the last time I smoked and my urine test. I've been drinking lots of fluids and trying to detox my body naturally by eating right and light exercise. I'm not too worried about the latest indulgence 4 weeks ago, but do you think that my previous heavy smoking habit would trigger a positive result if I smoked again a few weeks ago?

Your smoking habits of more than 3 months ago will have no effect on a urine test now. You should be just fine.

I haven't heard any negative feedback about my urine test, so I'm assuming I passed. There are other background screenings being done, which I will pass with flying colors. I'm assuming that they have received the drug screen results by now and it was clean and I should be given a start date when all the other background checks are completed.
