Hello everyone. I have been a one per day smoker for many years now but I will have to do a preemployment urine test sometime in the next 3-4 weeks and I need to pass. I am 50yrs old, 6'2", 230lbs and in reasonably good shape. I work out on a universal gym 3-4 time per week. I drink too much beer(something else I have to quit), and eat fairly healthy. What are my options to ensure I pass this test. I am quitting the weed tonite after one last farewell smoke. I thank anyone and everyone who is willing to help me.

You are off to a good start by quitting. The longer you abstain, the better. Read the Dilution and Substitution stickys and decide which way you want to go.
Then get a couple of home tests and test yourself a week before the test and again 3 days before the test. If you pass the home test you are probably ok without dilution or subbing. If you fail, you will have had 2-3 weeks to get ready for subbing or dilution. If you choose dilution follow the instructions carefully. If you choose subbing, practice, practice, pratice. Before you ask, Quick Fix is the synthetic urine of choice on this forum. Some of the others reportedly can be detected.

i have been in the same position as you. didnt have a clue till i came to this site. the only thing i knew was i would not pass for sure. bought a magic drink. drank it and went to work. no pee test. i read this board and tried diluting. tested myself and passed a home test. had a hoot. a few hours later got a job offer. i was screwed again. i read about subbing. lots of valuable reading. got a little shampoo bottle and a temp strip for it and practiced lots. found a great source of clean pee ( my wife), and went for it. no problem. done it a few times now. i will always be a little nervous though. your preemployment test will more than likely be unobserved, but you still have to know what you are doing. nice to see some people my age on the board.

Well, I am 6'8'' and smoked the herb every day for 8 years...took me about 70 days to get my THC metabolites below 50.....so if I were you, you may want to go and pay for your own test ahead of time at a lab for like $50...then if you fail it, buy some fake urine.

I remember that. Thanks for the reminder from personal experience that not everybody will be clean in (X) amount of days.
