Temperature not displayed - under 90 degrees

The Lab tech (LabCorp) asked if I wanted to retake the test in an hour or submit as is.. She wrote "temp not shown" on my paper and I asked for it to just be submitted. Will this be a problem and will they fail me? I used quickfix.

I called the hiring company after the test to tell them I’m finished and told them what had happened about the temp. They said “little discrepancies can be over looked” So.. Not sure..

Any help would be nice.. Thx,

A 50/50 chance. It will all depend on the employer. If they end up hiring you I would think that you will never have to worry about a test

This will almost certainly fail. The MRO will look at it, ask you why your piss was cold, then not listen to your answer and mark "invalid" or "substituted" on your results forwarded to the employer. Then the employer can either eliminate you from contention for the position or have you re-test (observed).

Well I was give'n a start date today so guess the temp wasn't an issue?? Maybe depends on the employer.

And just so you know, you can not be "Observed" for a pre-employment urinalysis... That would equal a lawsuit. I've only be observed while in the military. Have Never been observed for any previous civilian or government position I held.

Sec3 you didn't read my post at all and yet you replied with negativity. Did you smoke first before posting or did you still have the grumpies? I'm smoking right now as we speak and have washed the grumpies away.

Next time be a little more optimistic and say something like "You should be okay and if they accepted the specimen than your good to go.. Especially if you used Quickfix... *_^ "

My day would have went a lot sweeter and would have slept through the night..

You haven't started the job yet, correct? If not I wouldn't get to cocky about it. Having a start date and having the job are two different things.

I find it amusing that you tell a sample collector (sec3) how drug tests work.

I'm sorry, next time I will lie to you. You didn't tell me that was what you wanted. There is a reason that the temp strip is on the cup. If your employer chooses to ignore an obvious substitution, then they are either wasting their money by testing people at all or they have government contracts or some other consortium type of agreement to test and only want the income from that consortium or contract. Your employer doesn't really care about you, your co-workers or the quality of the work. Only the money and opportunities that drug testing brings.

Don't all of you get me wrong, I am not saying that just because you smoke pot your work sucks or you are no good as a co-worker. However, if an employer overlooks an obvious substitution, then they don't care what drugs you are doing or how badly you are strung out on those drugs. Marijuana isn't the only drug tested for. How many of you want a heroin addict working on the space station? How many of you would want to be the astronaut flying around in a ship where a tweaker installed the seals or checked the oxygen tubing? Extreme? well, how many of you want to put your kids on the school bus right after the driver dropped acid?

Well, you got lucky. ... or... maybe you didn't get so lucky. Just exactly who is that working next to you and what drug did he do for lunch?

The real problem isn't drug testing as a whole. It is that they test for marijuana when there is really no test to determine the level of impairment from THC. You could have smoked two weeks ago and lose your job today because of a failed drug test. In my mind, that is the real problem with drug testing. It isn't that we are testing at all, but that there is no test to determine a level of impairment for drugs.

Congrats Sec, this is the best statement that I have heard in a long while. Makes me wish that drug testing for weed would be like that.
