I left my QF in the urinator for a week or so and now the probe inside the bag is rusting.I rinsed out all the very very small particles. My question is I used it this morning for Labcorp test and was needing to know if there was just a minute amount of rust residue in the sample,QF, I gave them will this be a problem? Thanks!

This test is for pre-employment.Will they look at it under a microscope on the initial test or am I just paranoid.Labcorp is doing it.You had to really look very good to see a little residue.

I'm not a chemist. I don't know if a rusty piece of metal will put oxidents in the synthetic urine or not. Since there are no oxidents present in urine naturally, this would indicate an adulterated or substituted specimen. If there is a chemist out there that knows the answer to this question, speak up please.

They check to see if it is human piss. Human piss doesn't have rust in it no matter how rusty "your pipes" are. ![]() | |

I've got a related question... I'll be ordering a Urinator and some QF next week and plan on keeping both as handy as possible while working. Hopefully in my jacket pocket since I wear that every day. Are those two items manageable enough to carry without it being obvious? Second question... If I get called for a UA, how long does it take to take the QF and place it in the Urinator? I'm not worried about being observed, I just like having a concealable "heater" with a temperature readout on it that the Urinator provides. But, I've read several posts saying people left their QF in the Urinator for a week or two... Is this just precaution on their part, or is there some reason you can't just dump the QF in it 15 minutes prior to a test, and have both seperated in your pocket or wherever until that point? Thanks!
