I received an official letter from a company asking me to work for them.
There is nothing in that letter regarding drug testing.
The only mention is adhearing to the companies drug and alcohol policies.

My question is do you think I will be drug tested?
It is a small to medium size company.
Are they required to notify employees of drug tests?
Can they ask me to test that very same day?

I would hate to go in my first day and they say, " oh by the way please go take a urine test."

I would definately fail.

I have been a regular smoker for the past 5 years or so (regular meaning 1-3 times a day).
This being the case, can anyone recomend which would better suit my needs, dilution or substitution?
6'0'' 200 lb's 31 years old work out 3-4 days a week.

That would be the sign that you will probably be drug tested. Sounds like a drug free workplace to me.

Yes a real good chance of it.
The mention of drug policy, in my opinion, is your notification. You do have to sign a paper giving permission. If you don't sign the consent form you won't get the job.

For your smoking history.....Read the Substitution sticky and practice, practice, practice.

Bummer.
I thought they wouldhave mentioned that the position was based on the applicant passing a drug test or something to that nature.
I did have 4 different intervies with the company and they never once mentioned a drug test

I feel so paranoid with the substituion process.
I have about 2 weeks, maybe I can try the dilution process.
