|  niacin... the truth alright. my drug test is in two days. i had some niacin earlier in the week, but the source was shady and i didn't experience intense side effects. i'm considering going to a GNC in the mall i work at and buying some more and taking them tomorrow and the day of the test. i've heard SO many differing opinions on niacin... will it help me or won't it? can someone get to the bottom of this? and someone told me readyclean is sold at GNC... is it? is there anything else at GNC i should purchase to make sure i'm clean? |

| Niacin doesn't do anything to help you pass a drug test. (It will, however, keep you from getting pellagra.) All it does is give you a hot flush. Niacinamide, a closely related chemical that doesn't give you a flush, contributes the same B vitamin, B3. Detox products are simply an expensive and less effective way of doing a dilution procedure. Save money and get better results by following the dilution protocol outlined in the sticky thread at the top of this forum's listing.

|  GNC Detox Products Scam GNC pushes a lot of dubious cleansing and detox products. Some of these products are no more than a quart of 50 dollar fruit juice fortified with a few herbs, vitamins, papain and creatine.  The GNC detox recommendations they make when you walk in their store are a big scam. They cheat the unsuspecting customer who is looking for help. You buy what GNC recommends at your own risk, buyer beware! Because ain't NO REFUNDS on their overpriced detox products. Even if you bring back the unopened package the next day with a receipt. They know damn well the products don't work and they sell the stuff anyways to make a buck and maybe contribute to ruining someone's life. This is the kind of crap you can expect if you go to GNC. Don't give em a dime!!  |
