So I just got hired on at a new job, and being fresh out of college and exceedingly naive I didn't really consider the possiblity of having to screen. I believe I will be taking an EMIT test and it will be sometime between Weds and Fri this week(I am scheduling it tomorrow).

I had laid off of weed for almost 5 months, but when I moved after graduation and came to live with a friend I began smoking daily again (maybe a gram / day). I smoked for a month and a half on this schedule until I got a job offer last Thursday which was wholly unexpected. I immediately quit smoking, so I'm 3 days clean right now and will be between 6 and 8 days clean when I test.

I am very skeptical about substitution, having never been screened before, and since I live in a new half of the country and my only friends here smoke, I do not know anyone who can provide me with a clean sample.

I purchased Detoxify Brand XXtra Clean before coming to this forum and still fully intend to use it, though now in conjunction with the dilution / aspirin method. Do I have any chance of passing this sucker by dilution? I'm 5'9", about 175, working out infrequently since I began smoking again.

Get a home test follow the dilution instructions carefully and test yourself.

Well, they wanted to get me started ASAP, so they sprung the test on me today, when I was unprepared. Thankfully I took some aspirin before I left and was able to dilute as well, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll let you know if I pass.

Thanks for the excellent resource you provide here. Hopefully I won't need it again soon, but if I do I know where to turn for great advice on the subject.
