I haven't smoked for almost 60 days now. When I did smoke, I was a pretty heavy user. I got fired from my last job for failing a drug test after someone ratted me out and have been trying to find a job. I have an interview in 2 days. My husband smokes pretty regularly and I am usually in the room when he does it (I still like the smell). Will this cause me to fail my test? I would also like any information you might have on the sure-gel method. Mixing sure-gel and water and drinking it before a test. I have heard that it is supposed to coat your bladder for a minimal amount of time. Is this true? Thanks!!

I think your good to go...Usually for a heavy past smoker it takes between 4-6 weeks, well that's what it took me. And about 2nd hand smoke the labs can tell if it's 2nd hand or not. So good luck and I think your in the clear and about the surgel. No idea.
And how are they testing you? Urine or Blood. If it's Urine your Clear in my Judgement but Blood, well??? Not sure there?

Coating your bladder won't help. The THC isn't exreted from your bladder; your bladder is just a vessel that holds the urine that is filtered from your kidneys. The urine is make from the kidneys filtering your blood of impurities and dead cells. The impurities comes from other cells, specifically THC comes from burned fat cells.

Besides shur jell doesn't coat the bladder, it is just jelatin that is digested by the stomach acids before it ever reaches the intestines. It must go through your vascular system to even reach the kidneys and bladder. It doesn't. It goes through the intestines to the anal cavity and from there,

Thanks for the info. I guess I'm just paranoid. I think they are probably going to urine test. I haven't even been on the first interview yet. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

So, if for a heavy smoker it takes around 4 to 6 weeks to clean...how long do you think I need after quiting for 50 days and having something like 2 or 3 bowls within the last 4 days (last night as the lasst time). I' m going to apply for another job and the test will be probably friday or next week. Thank you!

The best thing you can do for yourself is to invest in a home test or two. Test yourself first thing in the morning wednesday morning. Before you drink anything, before you pee. Use that first pee of the day and test it with your home test. If you pass, you should be good for the test anytime. if you don't pass, then look into either subbing or diluting. All the information is here, all you have to do is look for it.

after the superbowl i took one gb and was called in to take a test that tuesday. i just drank a gallon of water on monday and tuesday. i was ready to just acknowledge to the screening officer that i was dirty but before i did she told me to have a nice night. god must have been looking out for me because it was negative.
