Hi Everyone!! I LOVE my new job and I want to be there forever! I'm busy and have paychecks and things are going well (knock on wood). I am worried constantly, though, about the chance for "periodic testing." Being in finance I was able to go through all of the Labcorp bills....and they all say "pre-employment" so it is LIKELY that my company doesn't even do periodic testing. Still, I can't and won't take a chance with this job and I am still not smoking butts. Girl's gotta have a vice, and mine is mj. So, I ordered Quick Fix today in the off-chance my department is ever tested. I have been keeping a bottle of chewable aspirin with me at all times but at least with synthetic I don't need to risk my privacy. Or do I...that's my question: Is/will there be a time when labs can tell that the sample is synthetic? I don't know what's worse - deliberately bringing in a fake sample or giving up a positive sample? I don't drink or do ANYTHING else so this is my one vice and I can accept that. I hope everyone is doing great! Thanks! ![]()

Hi Peggy, The penalty for getting caught with a synthetic and giving a positive specimen are the same. If your company is not being billed for randoms then they are not doing them. The labs bill for pre-employment, random, post-accident, etc... testing on the same invoice. If there are no randoms being billed on those invoices you saw, then they aren't doing random testing.

Hi Sec3....I think of you when I sew and wonder if you're better at it than I am. Don't answer that - even a toddler could sew a straighter line than me ![]() I realize I'll be fired if they find out I use or if I'm caught sneaking it in. But you (ok, I) would think that tests could tell between my real body fluids and ones I buy over the Internet. I read enough here that the Quick Fix works, which is why I bought it for insurance. I thought perhaps Labcorp bills "pre-employment" as a standard catch-all label in light of HIPPA laws or whatnot. Thanks for the reply Sec3!

Nope, they distinguish the different types of tests on the invoice. If you can, also look if there is an invoice from an MRO. (would be in the same expenditure catagory as the lab tests). They also distingiush the different types of tests and usually charge more for positives.
