do those detox drink work or not. i know a lot of people talk bad about them because of the price and everything but i have heard of people smoking the night before and passing a test the next day. i need to know because i have used a detox drink and am waiting for the results. i drank nothing but water for 48 hours and didnt smoke for that time also. i did smoke everyday for about a month before that though. my urine was clear until i drank the drink about 2 hours before i dropped. after that it was almost neon green. i dont know what kind of test they are running but i do know that they fed ex the samples to a lab some where else. i did use a home test kit before i left for the test and i passed that. the test was a stick that i dropped in a sample and it had a C and a T line which meant i passed. what are my chances this job is a great offer with great pay and benefits i need help!!

Didn't they give you your copy of the Custody and Control Form? Did you get a copy of the paper you signed attesting that you gave this specimen without tampering or adulterating it in any way?

IF you did receive such a paper, look on it and it should tell you where the specimen was sent.

For your question, if you passed a home test, you have a good chance of passing the lab test. Not 100%, but good nevertheless.

The reason we don't recommend the detox drinks is that there are too many variables. From the particular brand, to the instructions written on the back regarding how much water to drink and how soon before the test to drink said water. Plus the fact that they cost about 4X more than the dilution method recommended here and do (generally speaking) a worse job. Not to mention there may be ingredients detectable by a laboratory included in the detox drink. With the dilution method recommended here, you know exactly what ingredients it consists of and in what quantity.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of people pass using a commercial detox drink, but in my opinion, it is due more to luck than calculated fluid intake. A lot of people also receive a positive or diluted result using the commercial detox drink. Do you feel lucky???

i feel like im due for a pass ive failed 1 drug test before after two weeks of not smoking and just drinking water. the speciman was sent to labcorp in north carolina. also on the paper it says that that the requested test by employer is "Drug profile(s)" with a check next to it whatever that means, the unchecked selections next to that are "Ethanol, Blood," and "Ethanol, Urine"

The ethanol part is that they aren't checking for alcohol.
