6' 280 I don't think I even have a metabolism (gain weight smelling food). Been smoking heavy for 10 years, with a break for about 7 months last year, and have shut down for a few weeks to date. I am guessing dilution is not in the cards. I will waste a couple bucks and buy a practice test but I am sure it won't be good.

Anyway, I have a test in a week or so, pre-employment (so not observed). The problem is I am a 2 hour drive MIN from the test facility. I have read through most of the threads on warming but none I have read seem to cover that length of time. It will be a frozen sample of donor.

Should I water warm at a location near the facility?
How long will it take?
If I warm at home and crotch it for the ride will the temp hold or will I need to reheat?
I am going to dillute as backup, should I just used my dilluted sample to warm the cup then swap with the donor urine? Would that be too risky?
Any input would be appreciated.

If I were you, I'd take the piss in a gas station and nuke that mother fucker for about 30 seconds when you are 30 minutes away. Just don't make it obvious.

You should practice. It is not that hard to get a sample up to the right temperature, secure it to your body, and keep it in the accepted range indefinitely with body heat.

Damnit, Just talked to my donor, freaking guy went 30 years without smoking and said he took his first hit a couple weeks ago, he forgot to mention it to me. He is probably clean by now and I am going to home test him, if he fails I am kinda hesitant to get the QF online (bad experiences buying stuff online), does anyone know a headshop or club in SoCal that sells it?
Also on my app for employment it has this which worries me (see below) are they testing for synthetics? Or are they just talking about the standard empty pockets check ID protocols? This is a Fortune 500 company so I wouldn't put an expensive test past them. Anyone see something like that before. This is my first test besides NCAA back in the day which are easy as hell to pass btw. Dilute and excuses worked everytime.

First off, I would make sure that you know your test is unobserved. You say:
That language sounds suspicious to me. I read more and more that certain private sector companies are moving towards observed testing. I would suggest that you ask your future employer's hiring manager for a hard copy of the official pre-employment policy. Such documentation may include more specific information about the drug test you may have to take.
My point is, make 100% certain that you know if your test is observed/unobserved.
I was recently in a similar position. To find out these details, what I did was something maybe a little unorthodox. I made aquaintance with someone who was recently hired for the same exact position which I had applied for. After some small talk, he gave me his card and offered to answer any question at all that I had. I called him a few days later, asking him about the pre-employment procedures for this company. I basically pretended that I was afraid of needles (needle-phobia, lol). I then asked if the test was in fact a piss test... he said it was. Then, considering the informal nature of our conversation, I asked him if anybody would have to watch me while I pissed in the cup... Yes, I told him that I get "stage-fright". I would rather have someone think me a weirdo while un-knowingly giving me the knowlege necessary to dupe my UA, than fail. Right?

If you KNOW your test is UN-observed, and you have no donor, then you can use Quick Fix 4.0. It worked for me. The test I took was a P711 (9DSP), which if you research, you will find is a very real and up to date GC/MS test. When I did this, I was nervous of the possibility of someone putting lemonade in replica QF bottles, duping the packaging materail, and selling a fraudulant product. If buying online, the only thing I suggest concerning this is to make sure that the feedback/repution of the seller is near perfect. I have no specific vendors to suggest, but I used Ebay and found a seller with >98% positive feedback selling Quick Fix 4.0 for $11.99USD. Hope I helped a little, good luck. ^_^

I don't think it would be a good idea to heat it up for 30 seconds. I don't know if they look at these things, but proteins can be denatured if they get too hot. But yea, I think the only sure way to pass is use some of that synthetic piss or find someone with clean and heat at about 10 secs. Then use heat packs to keep it warm.

Well, I ended up just subbing with QF, I heated it at home in microwave for 15 secs, it was out of range but came down in a couple minutes. I strapped the included warming pad on with rubber band and stuffed it in a wool sock. It took 3 hours for me to get to the testing place. Before entering I removed the warming pad, checked temp 98 went in went through a half ass screen with nurse, she told me go into the bathroom and lock the door behind me, and told me to flush after which I thought was odd. She didn't even check the temp just checked off the box. Should get results in a couple days. As long as I had a good batch of QF I should be good. Thanks Board.

I just read that you took the test using QF but I wanted to add this to the thread. One of those safeguards is the temperature strip on the side of the cup to assure that the specimen is the applicants. Statements like that do not necessarily mean observed. Hell, you could consider removal of your coat or only givng them 4 minutes in the bathroom a safeguard. Most if not all employment drug screens are not observed unless you give cause.
