i am going to an interview in 26 days and im pretty sure there will be a drug test involved. i have smoked marijuana everyday for about 5 years, but i really want this job. i have stopped smoking and now run everyday and drink alot of water. will this be enough to pass a test or do i need to go to other measures. please send reply i really want this job

Get a home test and test your first void of the morning. Pass that and you should be good to go.

Like OTOL said, get some strips and test yourself. better the hasle of getting those than the anxiety.

For what it's worth, I think you are doing the right thing by honestly cleaning out. Sucks, I know, cause we all like burning one. I'm in the same boat as you.

26 days should be barely enough time. I'm on day 21, getting my first set of faint lines.

26 days vs. five years? Hmmm...you might want to give us some more information (height weight estimated metabolism) before we can really gauge it. I'd say double whatever your running schedule is, and do it daily without fail, then stop 2 or 3 days before the test and eat like you're trying to kill yourself. There's no ruleset that can accurately judge when you'll be clean, but running will help a lot. Oh, and eat as healthy as you can during this time frame, so you don't build more fat that needs to get burned off.

If you know you have to take a drug test at any point in the future quit smoking! Read the stickies and never start up again until you're completely in the clear, you never know if you might have to retest due to an error.
If in doubt, ask yourself this question: What's more important, getting out of the mess you're in or getting high?
