New to board/ what should I do?

Hey everyone.

I'm a first-time marijuana smoker since the 17th (Friday) this month, and need to know what I should do to in the event I'm called for a random drug test at school.

I took one hit on the 17th, and three on Thursday. This past Friday, I smoked around 3/4 of a bowl. I'm beginning to regret this smoking (should've waited for summer!) But I would like to know what I should be doing to prepare for a drug test that could be waiting just around the corner. (Tomorrow or the next day) I'm 5'7 135lbs and exercise a good bit. I have a fairly fast metabolism, if that matters.

I drank a good bit of water yesterday, and much more today along with cranberry juice.

Any advice is welcome.

EDIT: I don't know if this is important or not, but I also drank beer during the last time I smoked. I'd say around 5.

If you've smoked as little as you say, you should be able to quit smoking and pass with just a few glasses of water. Exercise always helps. You could also check out the substitution and dilution threads.

I'm curious, what kind of school drug tests you? That must suk. I sure hope that is university level or higher.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize you had test in next day or so. If that's the case, DON'T exercise, eat lots of fatty foods, so u store fat instead of burining it. You don't release as much THC into your blood that way. I'd still think you'd be ok by drinking a few glasses of water, or diluting or subbing.

I go to high school, and they do random drug tests on people who drive or participate in sports.

It's ridiculous...schools should stick to educating and leave the parenting to parents - but I won't get on a rant about that.

Dude, drive and park up the street. Honestly, im sure there is a nice old lady who would be glad to let you use her driveway, if you asked. Just say they charge for parking. Anyway. if you dont smoke, why start. I been doing it since 8th grade and puke for christ sakes when I dont smoke. Only in morning, but last 4 days are longest 4 days I aint smoke in 9 mo. I am hurting. Folks say it is easy. Sure, its somewhat easier than a hard drug. But it is still hard to stop. Last night I woke up so soaked in sweat It was sickening. Everynight. I guess thats what happens if you smoke a quop in a few days and then stop. Yea, I like smokin blunts.

Dammit, that sucks! Highschool? WTF! Man they just keep chipping away at our freedoms. End RANT MODE .

Anyway, hope that helped, but wait for a few more posts. There are people a lot more knowledgeable than me on your question. They might suggest other methods. I think I gave you a pretty good estimate based on what I've seen on the forums though.

Your school randomly tests "people who drive"? Why in hell would they do this? I'm curious why owning a legal drivers license would cause your school to ask you to pass a drug test. Just seems strange to me.

I should have stated more clearly: the school drug tests you if you participate in sports or drive and park a car on school property. It's still ridiculous.

Oh... so, sports aside, what do they do if you fail the test? Revoke your parking pass? Oh no, not that!!! What a joke.

Sorry for going off topic, Mouse. I wish I had detailed info for you, but from the info you gave it seems that the combination of a fast metabolism, low weight, and the fact that you only smoked a few times... makes you a good candidate for passing with the dilution method.

My only suggestion is to run a forum search on "dilution" and research everything you can on it. While your doing that and learning valuable info, in the mean someone might reply here with a more helpful response. Good Luck.

Well, all's well today...I didn't get called for a drug test. I'm not out of the woods yet though.

I'd like to know how long it would take to filter out my system now.
