Thanks for all the help so far.

It has been two days now and still no word back on my results. I have not called them. I am just assuming no news is good news. I have abstained from smoking just in case but really wouldn't mind sparking up. How much longer do you think I should wait?

Hopefully no news is good news. I wouldn't spark up again until your actually working there and know that there won't be any random tests.

Well I don't actually start there until April 15th. Kind of a while away. I would think I should know by then though.

Well, I've now gone 53 days without a smoke. I personally don't think it's worth the chance but that's just me. Out of these 53 days, only the first week or so sucked. I could easily go another 50 to 100 days and would certainly do so if the job were important enough for me. My $.02

I second that, but if he has a starting date he should call them to be sure all his paperwork is in order.

Well,

here's my update so far. I have not heard anything back about whether I passed or not but the company started setting things up on friday for me and my crew to head out to Cali and get started soon. I assume that this is good news. The didn't mention the physical and U/A and I didn't ask but I would guess if they decided to start getting things ready 4 days after i took my test that is a good thing. any input on this?

I'd say that there's probably a 99% chance you're in the clear. Personally, I still wouldn't take the chance and smoke until you're 100% certain but that's just me.

You said 4 buisness days? Did they call you and tell you to pack your bags? I would say that they would not delay. If you failed, they would call you immediatly. So it is good news indeed. Most places waste no time. Time is money. Even the labs. That shit is overnighted and tested prompto. No time for a fowled sample. Most employers are being forced to test. They want you to pass. They want you working asap. Its why they hired you. I would say you are in like flynn. :]]]

Just talked to one of my sups who told me HR had some questions about my physical. HR has not yet called me but they are lining up apartments for me and my crew. However I am a little nerveous. Wouldn't I have heard back sooner if I failed my test? Obviously, against the advice of some posters here after thinking I was in the clear I smoked again and have been smoking daily for the last week. Hopefully it is nothing. What do you guys think. I will post more when I know more. I was pretty confident when i tested as the home test had a faint line using my first void of the day the morning of the test. I drank 2 cups of coffee several hours before the test and drank about one and a half 32 oz Gatorades on the 2 1/2 hour drive to the test. Is it possible that it came back too diluted?

Nevermind, the question HR had was just one I had forgotten to fill out on the paperwork. I passed the drug screen fine. No worries. I just got myself all worked up when I heard they had a question about it. No biggie.
