So what's the deal here. I order 3 home MJ urine kits, because i'm going to get tested for life insurance. Wanted to see if i was postive and needed to stop.

I smoke everyday. But i smoke the tiniest little amount every day. A little pinch every day. something about 1/3 the size of a pea. 2 days ago however i smoked a bit more.

Today i took an MJ urine test. Haven't peed in a while. It was a "dip stick" type test. Came back with 2 lines. One line was VERY solid. The other line was a bit lighter. 2 lines = negative. 1 line = positive.

So what's the deal? Is it possible to smoke so little every day that you don't register as positive?

So i can go ahead and take the life insurance test and not stop smoking?

If you only smoke a little, it will test as a negative depending on your weight and metabolism. The THC in your system takes a while to build up... if you smoke enough, it could take more than ten days to test negative. As for continuing to smoke and assume you will test negative for a piss test is a bit risky. The best thing to do is NOT smoke, and not have to worry about passing or not. It makes it more enjoyable to stop for a while then smoke again. Besides, the longer you wait, the more high you get.

I hope that's it.. that i just don't really smoke that much each time... i just never realized you could test negative if you just smoke a tiny pinch each day... but i'm certainly happy that's a fact...

it wasn't even that light of a line!

I'll give it 24 hrs before the test.. we'll see what happens.. i can always get life insurance from someone else..

Its definatly possibly. It sort of "bio-accumulates" when used a lot. But in small amounts like your saying, even daily, I think your body can take it. Im not tellin you to keep lighting up. Stop until you get your [cough, chuckle chuckle] life insurance. Also, keep an eye on the wife, spill any drinks she poors behind your back. JK.

Drug tests always have a lower threshold. If the concentration of THC metabolites is lower than that threshold you pass. Whatever THC metabolites you have in your system leach out at a fairly constant rate. Apparently the small amount you smoke isn't enough to build a high enough concentration to register as a positive. The THC metabolites leach out faster than you put them in.
