Default People comming up "DILUTED" read

It has come to my attention that a few are getting retested cause of dilution. Also, I may be wrong about my advice. I am telling folks to just take it monitered.

As far as I know the folks at the lab can ask for a retest if they think you watered it down [IE adultraded it by adding water somehow].

Has anyone tried asking them to do it monitered to see if that clears up the problem? Or better yet are there any folks who took a monitered test that got retested due to "dilution"?

Interesting topic thats all. All input will help.

So your thinking is that the "dilute" results are because the lab thinks you added water directly to the urine and not that you drank to much water. Thats very interesting. Is this just an idea of yours or is this something you know?

That shouldn't be the case in most testing centers. If the test is unobserved, the toilet and sink have to be secured. That means the toilet water is probably colored and the water supply to the sink is shut off one way or another. I have taken tests before and the sink was unsecured but that was years ago. If they are not securing these water sources, they are not doing a very good job.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. I don't think negative dilute is cause to observe a retest. I know someone who can answer that for sure....

When i went to take my second test the woman never put the blue tab thing into the water and was just joking around the whole time. I could have added water but that would have made 2 dilutes in a row so I didnt. I did take some magic potion stuff and it made it look like movie piss, really yellow. I was a little paranoid about this but when I came out of the bathroom and handed to the woman she looks at it and says "OHHH Fresh Urine" then laughed so I guess it didnt look fake to her. I really had no comment to what she said I just made a grossed out face at her.

A negative-dilute result is usually caused by drinking so much fluid prior to the test that your creatinine and specific gravity levels fall outside the norms.

As FakeBoobsRule told you, you are usually not given the opportunity to get water in the room where you provide a sample. If you are going to carry water into the test you might as well carry clean urine or synthetic urine and substitute.

It was just my idea. But its a grey area. Of course you can't add water from the test room or toilet. It would be more like bringing it in with you. I was wondering if anyone just said, well monitor me so you know it is in fact a legit sample.

I think the best way to understand this is for probation drug testers to post. Have any MONITORED probation testers come up watered down and had to retest???
