Synthetic urine...can they detect it?

i did a test yesterday. My employer said it was sent for further testing.
ive been clean for almost two weeks now so i am sure that if i had to i could pass using the dilution techniques listed in the forums. Every day helps right? LOL. My question is if they send it to GC/MS can they detect the fake urine i used?

i used gonumber1. the temperature was also correct btw

No. Synthetic urine is undetectable on all analysis for drugs.

Any suggestions why they sent it for further analysis after the EMIT?i was nervous but no more so than anyone would be giving up their rights to privacy.

Maybe the confirmation test was performed at the request of the employer who probably is not satisfied with the results of an EMIT screen (pass or fail) and desires a quantitative value that only the GC/MS would offer. Again, its only a guess. Such an employer would be an overzealous nazi with extra money to spend. GC/MS tests are not cheap by a longshot.

Either way, synthetic urine acts in the capacity of clean urine that contains no drugs to test positive for (or at least its not supposed to).

you are right.....welcome to the oilfields of alberta hahaha. thanks for putting my mind at rest. i will post the results of the test on this post for anyone curious when i get the results in a few days.
