I'm new here and am probably going to get flamed for this, but I looked back a bit and didn't find what I was looking for so...

I'm a 20 year old male, 6' 0" 150 pounds, normally exercise 3 days a week (run 2.4 miles, some weights), and have a pretty high metabolism.

I smoked pretty much every day over spring break (3/10-3/16). I also exercised every day over spring break. Before that I smoked once in December. I smoked pretty much every day from June-August.

I took Adderal for 7 days after I got back to school, I heard that helps, but I stopped once I found out about my test. I received a job offer in the mail and it included drug testing information. I have to accept the offer by Monday 4/2. From there I have to fill out a bunch of forms and call a lab to schedule the test. I suppose I could delay doing it a bit, but probably not for long without causing some suspicion. What are the chances of me testing clean? It says a diluted result = a fail.

I'd say your odds are 50/50. Go to CVS, buy a home test, see for yourself. $15-20 for a test, but worth every penny if you want this job.

I ordered some tests online and will have them tomorrow so we'll see. I have to go to a place called LabCorp. Do you know if they watch you while you piss because I was thinking about getting a urinator

Its unlikely that you'll be observed while giving a sample. Thats generally for court-ordered tests, military, and for those suspected of tampering.

First post. Glad I found this forum. Everything I have read here as far as advise is concerned is no-nonsense, very helpful and informative .

I am in my early 50's, 190 lbs, and not too active. Have been a fairly heavy smoker for about 6 years. I stopped on March 6th. (3 weeks ago) Took a home kit test today and tested positive. I've read it could take up to 90 days for someone who fits my profile.

I am applying for a job that requires a p-test,
so any opinions as to when I will be in the clear would be welcomed. Admittedly asking for some reassurance as well.

A long time. Long time. There is a kid out there who has just barely started passing home tests with 7 weeks free under his belt. I can't even get a hint of a faint line in a home test kit. But, your better off than me, I only stopped since last week. Undfortunatly I am screwed, my test is tomorrow.

Retro, you gave your weight but not your height. 60 days is easily possible for a heavy smoker for years and a lot each day and even a little longer if you are overweight. The record on this site is a person who was very inactive, smoked an insane amount each day, and weighed 400 pounds. He tested positive for 105 days.

You remind me of a member back in the fall of 2006 with similar stats (not knowing your height though). His name was dragonfly something but it wasn't quite spelled that way. If I am in a good mood by the time I finish this I will post the link. He refused to sub or dilute and was still testing positive for 50+ days I think. He did a few things we recommened (I told him about soluble fiber) and he passed but he almost stroked out worrying about it. Subbing is the best way to go but to each his own. Employment tests are not observed unless you screw up bigtime while giving the sample (read enough posts or use the search feature to find out what these fuck ups are). If you don't want to sub or dilute read the thread from dragonfly.

I'm 5' 11" I bought some psyllium husk fiber as you recommended. Can't thank you enough for posting that thread FBR. Glad ya were in a good mood. .
Going with the 'wait it out method', for now since there is no deadline when I apply for the job, and take the test. Don't want to wait more than another month or so.

I took a home test and passed it. Should I take another one just to be sure or are they pretty accurate.
