Hey, i'm new to the site, And i've read some posts, But not all, So sorry if this is re posting.

Im finishing my degree program in a month or so. And applying to a few jobs, I know i'm goin to get hit up for a drug test. So just wonding what i could do to prepare.

I'm 23 years old.
6'3 222lbs Not sure what my body fat % is, I think its around 10-14%
Ive been working out for about 6 years , And still going to the gym steadly.
Usualy 5 days a week, ( only mentioning this b/c i hear it helps with getting the THC out of your fat cells)
Now on to the smoking, Ive been a steady smoker for 8 years or so, Daily use. The last few months, i've cut back a bit. Only smoking 2-3 times a week. But then id go and smoke everyday , So it varies.
I don't really want to quit smoking. (Who dose , :P ) But i know i have to, Was wondering if i should quit now.. or would i be able to get away with smoking for another week or so, Just untill i finish exams and what not,

And if theres any tricks or tips that anyone can suggest that would be great..
PS not looking for any quick fixes. I dout they work anyway.

Before you do anything, test yourself with a home THC test to see where you stand. When home testing, use the first urination of the day when toxin levels are at their highest. If you test positive, look into substitution or dilution. Info on both techniques can be found in the thread "stickys", or by using the search feature.

I'm in the same boat you are. Just graduated last year, and now I'm testing for a job bery soon. I been clean 8-9 weeks, and am BARELY passing home tests.

I'll just agree and back up what Lew and Darius said, which goes with my personal experience.

Stop now, and get you some home tests. I wouldn't even apply for any jobs, until you are confident that you can pass.

Of course, there are other options, but there's nothing like feeling like the cock of the walk when you walk in there for your real test. Just my opinion.

i have about 2 months b4 any testing is going to go down.. might smoke my brains out this weeked. then do a full quit. heh.. thts life tho i guess eh.

ONe more thing. Where would be the best place to order some test shit. the cheapest i've found was Removed commercial link. But there only the strips.. Will they be as accurate? I"m a little hurting on the funds, But i'll spend what i have to , to make sure i pass. Thanks.

Try Removed commercial link. Please do not post direct links in the threads They have pretty cheap tests and you can buy them in single increments. Also I HIGHLY suggest getting the speciman validity strips. They will tell you if you are too dilute or if your QF is good.

To see if you diluted your urine, they test for a few things. Creatinin, pH, specific gravity, and possibly some adulterants (stuff in additives to "spike" a dirty sample).

The speciman validity strips are strips you dip into urine, and read after a minute or so, and they tell you if all those things are at the acceptable levels. If not, they assume that you diluted, adulterated, or substituted somehow (even if you only just drank too much water). REALLY helps if you're gonna try the dilution method. The one I ordered had 25 strips in it, but it wasn't from medicaldisposibles.us.

hey bud- i am in a similar situation as you and landed my first job out of college. i don't know what you study or who you plan to work for, but i would like to warn you that i was surprised to find out i was actually getting a hair test! quit now for sure to be ready, i wish i would have quit two weeks earlier than i did. good luck!!

Indeed... "Pre-Employment Drug Screen" is not always a piss test. My research tells me that urine testing is the most popular form of pre-employment (maybe all) drug screening. However, it is up to you to find out however you can the specific nature of your test. Your best bet is to find out from someone who was recently into the same position you are testing for. It never hurts to research all and every type of drug test, time allowing.
