| I have a urine test in 24 hours, by afternoon the next day. I have a legal license to take medical marijuana because of a car accident I had. Im 5'10, 145 lbs. fast metabolism. smoked every day. This morning right after I smoked, my interviewer surprisingly called and said i have a until the next day (30 hours later after i took that hit) to go to a drug test. What is my best plan of attack? Is there any "Detox" that I can drink that can actually properly work this soon and this intoxicated? Or is synthetic my only option at this point? Money is no object and I live in L.A. so I have options. What is the best all out method for me at this point? |

| If you cannot pass a home drug test, subbing is your best option. Practice, get the temp right and it will be 100%. Dilution is not and there are no magic detox drinks that work 100%. Some pass, some fail but most are the dilution method. Sub. |

| Considering your history of usage, it would be almost impossible to pass a UA with dilution. You need to substitute. SUBSTITUTION: Tips, tricks and guidelines by N2 and look at Fooling the Bladder Cops

| He says he has a script for medical marijuana. Won't he be able to pass that off? IF he gets a positive result, the MRO will ask about that and the dosage and frequency of stuff, right? By no means an expert on medical marijuana, just curious from what I read on other threads. |

Note: Prescriptions for medical marijuana do not exist. Doctors provide a recommendation, not a prescription. Only drugs listed in the US Pharmacopeia can be prescribed and that is regulated by federal law which does not recognize medical marijuana.

| Thank you, I will substitue. Just to double check, I am going with quick fix synthetic urine 4.0 becausee that is what is at a nearby store. Does that one have an ok rep? it comes with a bottle with urine, an on-bottle thermometer and a microwaveable heating pad? or is the condom better? This is the one: Fake Urine for Drug Test : Quick Fix Unisex Synthetic Urine $19.95 for sale Mod note: commercial link removed |

| Quick Fix 4.0 has an incredible track record. I passed a (pre-employment, non-DOT, unobserved) lab urine test using it. I have never heared a bad thing about it. Seriously, I looked very hard, and never heard of it failing a test. (assuming the temp is right, and the bottle isn't discovered) The bottle that comes with QF is perfect. Try practicing with that first before even thinking about condoms. If you have problems with temperature or concealment, then maybe think about differently shaped bottles or condoms for an alternative... This is VERY subjective, so you should practice in order to find where your preference lies. As to why I would never sub with a condom..... I will stop there to prevent myself from ranting. But if you want, I can express my reasoning. |

Ok, so you said you want to know why I don't recommend using condoms for this. I'll try to do it without ranting. My 3 criteria for judging a superior container. 1) Durability: The container's abilitity to not break, rip, burst, or leak. 2) Integrity of the seal: The alibility of the seal to stay leakproof tightened. (resistance to becoming unsealed) 3) Convenience: The relative difficulty of filling, transporting, and pouring a container's contents. Bottles surpass condoms in all three categories (in my opinion). Concerning durability... this is obvoious to me. A plastic bottle can take far more punishment than a condom before breaking or leaking. Imagine a hypothetical test for this. In your left hand is the full bottle of QF with its cap on tight. In your left hand is a condom filled with the same amount of fluid, and tied tightly like a balloon. Now squeeze both hands, slowly squeezing harder until one of them breaks... yea, it was the condom. I could go on all day with this, but there are other physical forces that threaten your container (puncturing, pinching, pulling, shearing, bending), most if not all of which are less likely to hurt a plastic bottle... anybody who is now a parent because of thin latex rubber's ability to not rip open can attest that condoms aren't very durable. Concerning seal integrity... So the choices are.... a threaded plastic cap that is designed for the bottle it is screwed onto, or... a few twists and a tuck, tape, a knot, a trash bag twist-tie, or whatever people try. This one is so obvious I won't even go on. Concerning convenience... I don't think anyone would have any trouble filling either a bottle or a condom, so I'll skip that. Ease of pouring (without spillage) obviously favors bottles, but you can test both out if you like. Fill up a condom with 2oz of water and seal it however you would for the test, then try to get the water in the cup without spilling a drop. Some people tie a tight knot on the condom. This makes a good strong seal, but poses problems for pouring, as it causes you to have to pop or cut the condom to pour it. Unless you practice and perfect it, pouring out if the irregular breach of the condom's rubber will always be more challenging than simply unscrewing and tipping a bottle upside down until it's empty. Still refering to a container's convenience, I move on to the only good reason I imagine someone would prefer a condom to a bottle... Transporting your sample into the bathroom for your test has to be done with stealth. Therefore, I assume you will be carrying your container in the general area which includes inside your underwear, relatively close to the private area. There are too many ways to carry it, and too many anatomical differences from person to person to reach a simple answer on this one. I think people worry a little too much about this.. any "bulge" is easily consealable by altering your clothing. But even if you think that a condom is less noticable with your method, a small gain in concealability is offset by a loss of durability, sealability, and pourability. Someone might tell you that condoms heat up "better" than a bottle, which is both right and wrong at the same time. Sure, condoms transmit heat faster, but that means that they lose heat faster too. Inversely, bottles are slower at heating up, but stay warmer for longer. Of course, even if your method favors condoms when it comes down to thermal properties, this is a small difference, in which any gain in this field is not worth the loss in the others. And lastly, I'll give my simplified reasoning why I prefer bottles to condoms.... A condom used to carry liquid is based on the same technological principals that prehistoric man utilized when he first discovered that animal hide, when of a certain shape and tied a certain way, can be used to store and transport water. I believe that the later invention of a leakproof, sealable container is forward progress of technology. That being said, there really aren't many applications of liquid storage where "tied bags" are more efficient and practical than resealable bottles. Concluding, I am not trying to convince you of anything, but only to assist you in deciding for yourself. Someone could very well reply right now and poke holes in my logic, or explain very convincingly why condoms are better than bottles for subbing. Regardless of different points of view, use results derived from your personal practice experiences to determine whats best for you. P.S.: Oh yea the temp strip on the QF bottle is extremely helpful... another reason to use it. Edit: Here is a good recent example of how subbing with a condom can end up badly. http://www.marijuana.com/420/urine-t...+this+is+funny
