I am really concerned.... My husband has a GREAT job and it is on the line...Help anyone! Ok... He is 6'2, 180lbs. He is not a regular smoker, but he smoked a week and a half ago. He has been taking 500mg. of niacin everyday since. He was called to take a random test day before yesterday. He took another niacin pill right before the test. He has been drinking plenty of those energy drinks, water and beer. I am really freaking out. Does niacin even work? Please anyone out there please give me a small glimmer of hope.

I am currently freaking out about my test today and i am loading up on niacin as well. i had a UA about 4 years ago and drank alot of water and took about 2000mg of niacin a day, i was clean in two days. Now i have read up alot about niacin and other stuff so it very well could of been the water diluting my pee that passed me. but hell im desperate so im trying everything i can whether its proven or not, it couldnt hurt ya know?

Well I wish you a lot of luck! Well, I had always heard that thc was stored in your fat cells and niacin is a fat burner so why wouldn't that work, but I have been reading on what people are doing to get clean and not many are using niacin. I wonder if it just doesn't work. Well, we should find out sometime today since he took the test on Monday. Thanx for your help, and good luck!!!

Niacin helping you pass a UA is an urban myth. All it does is give you a hot flush.

Dilution techniques require more than simply drinking a lot of fluids. If that's all you do, chances are that you'll end up with a negative-dilute result rather than a negative. If that happens you'll either fail or be required to retest.

Whether he will test positive very largely depends on how you define "not a regular smoker". If he smokes about once per month and it was at least a month since he smoked prior to the last time, he probably would be fine. If he smokes about once aver 2-3 days, or even 4-5 days, you might have something to be concerned with.

yo ur husband cant drink 2 much water cuz theyll think he diluted his pee on purpose and all he has to say if he fails is that he took an asprin that morning cuz of a headache asprin and motrin produces achemical that makes it seem that u have THC in ur system,if u fail ur drug test dont worry evrything will work out ive been thru worse
