Hi Everyone,

I am going to be taking a drug screen next week for a new job and am worried because I smoked last week. I have purchased a test kit to see if I am positive, but decided that I will use the kit tomorrow. I want to take it now, but am worried that if I am positive it will make me more nervous than I am at the moment. I am drinking alot of cranberry juice and water. I also drink green tea and coffee. I smoked in the last month about 10 times. Do you think I am doomed for the test next week? Is there anything I can do to pass this? Again, I would like to prolong the test time, but I think they will be suspicious if I do that. Its for a gov't job. Again, any comments are greatly appreciated.

Take your home test using the first urine of the day in the morning. Depending on the results should help you decide what to do next. Start researching threads here and take a look at the stickys. Good luck.

Stop drinking excessive juices, water and tea. It will not help for your test next week. It will only stress your kidneys this week.

So sec3 what should I do? BTW, I am 5'9", 150 lbs. Is there anything that I can say to postpone the test? I don't want to sound suspicious. I think the test will be on Thursday or Friday. Its been about 6 days since I smoked. Also, I am going to test myself tomorrow morning. Should I just lay off of the water until then? Also do the foods you eat effect the results?

Lay off the excessive fluids until after you test yourself tomorrow morning. That way you will be testing the most concentrated urine possible. IF you pass the home test tomorrow morning, you need to nothing. If not, then consider either diluting or subbing. which ever you feel most comfortable doing. Until you test yourself, you will have no idea where to go from here.

Also, drinking excessive fluids in the days leading up to a test on any other day other than test day does nothing to "wash" THC from your body. THC is held in your fat cells. A tidal wave couldn't wash them away. Only time and excercise can get rid of them.

Hey dave, I just tried the links myself, seems to me like the site is down. Odds are that it's only temporary... I hope so anyway. Try them tomorrow or something, the'yll probably be back up. If not, hopefully we'll be hearing from Higher Logic about it.

In the meantime, there is still much dilution info to recearch on this forum besides the sticky. Run a forum search on dilution and related info, and you should be occupied plenty until the links come back.

Alright, I took the At Home test this morning and I got a line, so I am assuming I am in the clear. The bottom line is lighter than the top line. Do they have to be the same color to be 100% negative, or is this normal for every negative result. The only worry I have is if they measure the thc level in my urine. I have 5 more days until I get tested. Does anyone think I should use the dilution method anyways? Also, would a blood or hair test show positive?
