| My employer gave me a drug test the other day and it showed a light line under the THC area. He sent the sample off to the lab for further testing to confirm the negative. I thought if there was a line, I would be good but now Im thinking I may be in trouble. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Im a very light smoker and smoked a couple of puffs from a bowl a week before I tested. Do you think this will return from the lab as a positive? Im worried I will lose my job! And its a highly visable position, so it will be sure to have media attention! Help! |

| Technically, a line is a line and the lab should treat it this way. Just because it was sent to the lab doesnt mean your going to fail. Let's hope they use an assay test on it (which they probably will). Sec3 may chime in and let you know what the exact procedure is. Don't get overlyworried yet. |

| sec and dr: I think you both are right. I know for a fact that Sec never ever gives false facts. However, Sec said that 99.9% faint lines pass at the lab.... Therefore, Dr. is also right to say 'better safe than sorry.' 99.9% is not 100%... so that means that there is .01 chance that your 'faint line sample' will fail at a lab. The significance of this stat is entirely subjective. In my case, any 'probability' of passing with dilution was unacceptable to me, prompting me to substitute instead. So my 2 cents is... both good points, but... If I were you, I would assume you will pass, based solely on the quality and integrity of every contribution made by Sec3. But the Dr.'s point is a good one too. Kudos, friends. ^_^
