Hey guys - thanks for the great resource. I hadn't even considered subbing as an option before I read what's here.

So - my question:

I'm 35, been smoking daily for about <cough> 15+ years. 5'10" 220.

I stopped smoking April 2nd, once I found out I'm going to need to take a piss test as a pre-req for a new job.

After reading what's here, I pretty much came to the conclusion that subbing is my only option - I've smoked way too much and have too short of notice to even consider trying to dillute.

The test is likely next week sometime - maybe, maybe the week after - but no later than that.

Should I continue my abstinance - assuming that I'm going to smoke a fatty the moment I get a clean test? Is there any benefit, considering I'm going to sub?

The only benefit I can think of, is if something goes wrong (like being watched while I'm trying to sub), I'll have a fallback. But it sounds like even if that happened - I'd fail anyway.

I've been pretty edgy for the last two weeks, and frankly - now that my QF 4.0 arrived in the mail, the little guy with horns floating over my shoulder is seriously encouraging me to smoke.

You have a heavy smoking history and you're a little overweight but don't doubt yourself. Even a minimum of two weeks of clean time can put you into a very good position for a successful dilution attempt. You should sub if at all possible but practice dilution as a fallback in case you find out your test is observed.

I was just in your situation. Used Quick Fix, had to wait a week for the results...ending up abstaining for 40 days total. Just wait it out and be strong. If you give, you will be super-paranoid and probably won't enjoy the high until you know you're totally in the clear.

Thanks for the advice & support, guys!! I ended up not smoking, and I still haven't - I'll wait until the results come back before I toke

I just took my urine screen this morning - and just have to share my experience.....

I work for a health system. As such - all the facilities for doing this stuff are onsite, or so I thought.

I used QF 4.0, and crotched the stuff under my nuts. I didn't use the heater - nuking it for 10 seconds, then 2 seconds additional at a time until it got up to temp was enough, and body heat held it there.

Once I went in, I found out I had to not only take a Urine screen, but a TB Test and a physical. Ack!!

What's worse - they made me strip naked, and put on a gown... AND give me a freaking hernia exam. Lovely.

Despite all that, they amazingly still didn't find the bottle I was crotching! The only thing that was a bit out of order was that my blood pressure was a little high because I was shitting bricks. I just acted all shy, crossed my legs, and didn't let the Dr. dig too deep for the hernia check

After that - I went and took the test - and flawlessly subbed. Boy, is this the way to go

They didn't do any sort of instant test, much to my surprise - they just bottled my sample off, and shipped it off to some lab called MedTox? Supposedly I get the results back in a day or two.

Oh yea, and if you have ANY test coming up, QUIT NOW! Is this worth jail or losing this $$$ ? NO! If you think so, you'll probably end up like this .
