Hi, okay.. here's the deal with me.... I stopped smoking more than 6 months ago, but just two weeks ago I took like 4 hits off of my friends joint (which had like no weed in it to begin with and it was garbrage trees) and of course I end up getting a chance at a great job two days later, which requires a drug test. I was so nervous about it and everyone told me not to worry blah blah blah, but of course I was worried! I always drink lots of fluids, I work out a lot, but have been a little lazier than normal, but still did some little working out here and there. I'm 5'8 and about 140, so my matabolism is pretty decent I would assume. Anyway, last thursday I took a home test, but it wasn't the first pee of the day and it came out negative, both lines were pretty dark as well. That gave me a very big relief, but I took the test yesterday morning and I'm just freaking myself out, even my mother said that's not enough to test postitive, but I'm just worried. I haven't heard anything back yet, but I did speak with the company today and they said they didn't receive the results back yet but they should by today or tomorrow. I'm done blabbering, but what do you guys think will I pass or what!?!?!!??!

I think if you keep calling the company in reference to the drug test that they will get suspicious.
Relax. It's too late to do anything about it now. All you can do is wait for the results and hope the give the same result as your home test.

thanks for your reply, i just wanted to say that what I spoke to the company about today had nothing to do with the drug test, they brought it up

Why would it matter if the company gets suspicious? The cards have been delt when the sample hit the cup. It will either be + or -. They can suspect all they want. Do you think they could up the ante by ordering an additional suspision test that has a lower threshold?

Because they don't have the job yet and the company expects prospective employess to pass?
He/she has obviously consented to pre-employment drug testing. It ain't over until they say it's over and the job is secured. Then most places have a clause in company rules for random testing for reasonable cause. If I run a company and somebody kept calling concerned if they passed a drug test, you can bet they would be tested again.

Not to create an argument, if you are employed, you should not be stoned at work. you should always give your best effort and have your job be your first prority, when you are punched in. If you do those things, there should be no reason to merit any addition drug screens.
Being intresed in YOUR bodily fluids is not a crime, it is your right!

Just one guys opinion.
