They test for alcohol by testing for EGT, and can be detected almost 80 hours after consumption. Have a friend that is going thru it now. They even told that person to watch what they eat like chocoalte as it will/might show up as egt.

Hawg, please explain EGT to me. I have never heard of it. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just means that I only want to learn more about it. What does it stand for (EGT). If you cannot do it in this forum, please email privately. I really want to learn what it is, and how they can test after 80 hours.

Hey FXjohn...

The 2 oz filled it just over the temperature detector, which is what the collector lady specifically asked for. BUT... the last time I did it 2 oz was just under the line of what they needed at, I believe, it was Quest.

So... thanks so much for your help. Better safe than sorry.

Heavy smoker, all day high type. 5'6 170. Stopped one week ago and started running. I run till I am drenched in sweat. Been drinking 8-10 bottles of 16.9 oz water day. My test is next week and I will post those results. took a walgreens test called "at home drug test" passed. The line was faint, to the point where ya almost have to squint to see it. According to the test instructions and their website

"There is a minimum amount of drug that has to be present in the urine specimen in order for the test device to consider the urine positive. With some drugs, the minimum amount is relatively high, like amphetamines (1000ng/mL). With other drugs the minimum amount is relatively low, like marijuana (50ng/mL). The lower the minimum amount, the lighter the line will be in negative urine"

They also state that even a very faint line should be considered negative and the faintness or darkness of the line is no way indicative of a specific amount of THC in the urine. (paraphrased)

By the time you actually take your test next week, you should be ok.
